Excellent food. Really slow (and not friendly service). When you spend a hundred bucks on juice, a smile would go a long way. ... Visited at 4pm on a weekday. Location was empty. Cashier proceeded to make my drink order while helping co-worker with... garbage; gloved hands holding garbage bin while co-worker pulled out sack before cashier put same gloved hands into bins offresh fruits and vegetables to scoop out contents for my drink order. I always go into the juicery. I live in Newburyport, my mom and I go in after we take walks all the time down town. I called in... my order, as normal, and the girls forgot about my order. They took other orders in front of me and served them, never asked meif I needed something. They finally called my name for just a part of my order after the wait took double. I waited another 5minutes, asked where the other part of my order was and they said they were working on it. I watched them just start it. Theyforgot me completely and I am deeply upset by this. The Acai bowl I ordered today was a load of granola with a little spread of acai sauce on the bottom.
I have come here almost everyday for a long time, but I think I won?t come here anymore. Today I just got straight scammed. It?s... not like it?s the cheapest bowl and it was just half full container. I got 1/4 if not less of what I usually get here of fruit.No mentioning the tiny little amount of almond butter. This won?t probably matter, but the consistency in quality is somethingthat must be reassured specially for regular customers. Previous time I came I also got straight not toppings at all, I asked ifI could get them and the staff just re made the whole bowl when all I needed was the toppings. and once again, without toppings.I request them again and I asked if the cocoa is something new they add on because I never noticed it. the girl just startedreading me the ingredients from the board in front of everybody like I couldn?t read. I let her finish and I requested mytoppings again. Which this time she did, but didn?t even hesitate to cut the strawberries. that time I got a great bowl despitethe issue. Same flavor consistency and quantity. Today it was just straight a scam. I got the two bowls I ordered even below thefill line in the container. I also saw today one of the girls dropping in purpose a box of product to the floor and laughingabout it. Even though inside the box the products is protected with a bag you never do that. I?ve worked as manager inrestaurants before and it was just unacceptable. It?s sad because this used to be my favorite juice place and I wish still asgood as before, but here I am with half full bowl which I payed around 14 each and almost not toppings at all. on top of that,the bag the cashier gave me was ripped, and instead of just double bag it or give me a new one, she just asked me to hold thetwo bowls even though I had my coffee in the other hand too. Visited 3/20/21 The Juicery is a cute little coffee/smoothie/açaí/fruit guru shop in downtown Newburyport. Definitely the... ?fruit gurus? is the best way to describe this place, it?s always busy due to their great service and delicious products! Highlyrecommend trying the smoothies and açaí bowls! The ?Red White Blue Açaí Bowl? is delicious and pictured below! Staff: Staffwas very kind and knowledgeable of the products and extremely skilled in working under pressure and the fast pace of customersconstantly strolling inside! (Tip them generously!! They deserve it handling the high volume of clients!) Location: it?slocation is great right; on the busiest street in downtown Newburyport next to all the boutiques and restaurants.
