Truly excellent cocktails and friendly service. I was a bit disappointed in the food. For example we were given brioche... hamburger rolls for bread, the steak salad I had was just okay. The French onion soup was not great and a steak we ordered @$40.00 was sadly not very tender. The restaurant was crowded and loud. I would like to return and give it another shot on aless busy day. This resturant was surprisingly large with separate rooms and a bar. People were eating lunch in the one with booths and wood... flooring and then it opened up to one with fancier tables with a buffet table set up for events I'm assuming. Parking waslimited and full half an hour after they opened, but tables weren't full at all. When we came in, 2 different sets of musicwere playing with a Josh Groban esque opera song going over our booth, and lady Gaga in the bar area. Thankfully they turnedoff the one above our heads. Food was okay. It's a good sandwich place but the rest of the food is simple. The mashedpotatoes had no flavor at all... Even salt or pepper would be good if they didn't want to try garlic or cheese. The food is the best in the area! Absolutely love the Artichoke Francaise is our go to appetizer. We have had everything on... the menu so it?s hard to pick a favorite we love it all! They also have an outstanding staff! Great Job by all!!!!!! Read more

Wonderful little romantic place!! Food was delicious. We ordered two filets. I ordered the blue cheese walnut crusted filet and... my partner ordered plain filet. I liked the plain filet better than mine but both were so delicious!! The walnut crusted couldhave benefited from a sweet element. Caesar salad was perfect amount of dressing (I prefer mine on the lighter side) and tasty,fresh, real baked bread croutons. The mashed potatoes were a little underwhelming. I ended up adding leftover butter from thebread and salt to mine. I also ordered a glass of red wine and it was quite tasty!! Not too dry, not too sweet & just a perfectpairing with the meal. The bread and honey butter were also amazing. They have won my service and I would definitely go back totry any other of the many appetizing and tempting items on their menu! ???????????????? I don't think the calamary is in season now, it was just ok, small and not crispy, but the burger and blackened catfish were... great. The fish was soft and moist, good flavor. The coconut pie was amazing, not too sweet at all, I was so happy. As an AsainI don't Iike much of American dessert bcz most of them are too sweet, but this coconut pie was exactly what's I am looking forafter a good dinner as a treat! Must try!!! The food was delicious! Service was great! The atmosphere was surprisingly more upscale than anticipated. This is definitely a... 'don't judge the book by it's cover' place. I gave 4 out of 5 stars only because I felt the pasta dish and salmon were a bitpricey. I was made aware of the specials, but not the prices. I would still consider returning, I'll just be more aware of myselections. Read more
