Having grown up in the TNT area, my wife and I had good memories of Roman Cafe. After a recent visit we were both disappointed.... I got a jumbo portion of Lasagna & was glad I didn't get the "normal" size. My wife had the Eggplant parmesan with a meatball(regular portion). Neither of us brought home leftovers which is always nice. I had unsweetened ice tea & our waitress neverasked, visited, or offered any refills. The food was just OK, but our overall impression was a VERY poor value, all entrees onthe high $$$ side. There's a much better value family style restaurant just over the bridge in Tonawanda. Not dropping any namesbut they're right across the street from Tops & their name rhymes with Snowy +'s ???????????????? Read more

These folks make the most perfect, most delicious, absolutely "to die for" fettuccini Alfredo! The noodles are nice and thick... and al dente, with a rich creamy sauce, that try as I may, cannot duplicate in my own kitchen. Read more

I ordered chicken cacciatore. Nowhere in the description does it mention pasta, I thought it was weird that it didn't come with... a side of spaghetti, but okay, whatever. I don't eat pasta, so I generally order chicken cacciatore for myself and let someoneelse eat the pasta. I get home, and the "hearty" order is almost all pasta and very little chicken. After eating the chicken offthe top, this is how much pasta was left (see picture). I am furious that this cost $18! Pasta is about a dollar a box, and thiscertainly isn't homemade. It is outrageous that they find this to be acceptable! I will never go here again, and I recommendnobody does! Read more

Very nice Saturday evening at Roman Cafe with my daughter, granddaughters and brother in law. Food was delicious, service was... great! No bar area. However, they serve wine and beer. Clean, comfortable Italian dining room. Small dishes are available forsmaller appetites. We loved our food, no complaints. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommend for a casual night out. 5 Starssays it all. Thank you! ???? Read more

Quaint little Italian joint with a home style feel. Staff were pleasant. The fried ravioli and baked ziti were delicious and... relatively inexpensive. Overall we enjoyed our time there. Read more

Came in for a small bite to eat for lunch. Our server gave us a booth (one of four total). Never told us her name. The menu... didn't have their options for drinks so we had to ask the waitress, she then rattled off a rather long list of sodas, teas, andsuch. Any questions about items, she would look at our menu as well, possibly a new hire? We ended up ordering the chickentender 5 and fries, it took about 15-20 minutes before we got our plate. The chicken tenders were a really good length, howeverthey were on the thin side. The breading on the chicken had a good amount of crunch to it, however it ended up not so crispy. Itwas really juicy so that was fine. The fries that came with it were unsalted (not an issue, just putting it out there) and thecelery was on the thin side. We got fried dough for a desert, powdered sugar and cinnamon to try both. They came out really hotand tasted good. The food was good, the wait wasn't too long. The portion size was on the large side. Food is really cheap ifyou dont mind sharing, could get up there in price for your own plates. Read more
