Avoid the Mac Attack, not worth the cost. My wife and I stopped by their food truck to give them a try. We ordered 2 Mac... Attacks, one with brisket and one with pulled pork. When we got home and sat down to enjoy, we found the containers were lessthan half full. See included photos. Out of curiosity, we even weighed them. Including the container weight, the pulled pork wasonly 9 oz and the brisket one only 10 oz. Not worth the $29 pre-tax cost. You might as well just purchase their 8oz side of Macand Cheese for $6. First off the food alone will blow you away add the staff to the mix and you have yourself a bomb food truck. This is a Covid 19 review. Uncle D?s is a great choice for bbq. We ordered a pound of the pulled chicken and a pound of the... brisket, each with their own sauce on the side. I wish they had more sauces to offer but I can not complain. For the price ofthe food, I thought we received a good quantity. The flavor was good and a place we will order from again. Read more

Plenty of seating on a nice cool day. Sweet yes is flavorful and smooth just like in Texas. Brisket is good. I like mine with... lots of fat but they do not have burnt end. Spare ribs were most, lots of meat fat feel of the bone. Easy to get too but watchit for Ct drivers when pulling in they are right up your trunk and might rear end you. They leave no room for error. I rarely eat BBQ. While out of town I ended up here because it was close. The pulled pork sandwich was amazing. I asked to have... cole slaw in there too. Makes it interesting. This restaurant posed a dilemma for me. The food was excellent. The sides were terrific. The only disappointment was that the... meat tasted like it was cooked in the oven rather than over a wood fire. It was fall off the bone done, but I really like my BBQsmoked. I had the half rack with collard greens and mashed sweet potatoes. Tasty! I think if you were born and raised in NewEngland this will be a five star BBQ restaurant for you. It is far better than any chain BBQ I've ever had. But it isn't quiteup to real southern BBQ standards. Read more

First time here, LOVED it! The food & service! <3 It's a tiny joint with awkward seating during the colder months. We had the... beef brisket & pulled pork each with the Jerk flavor & Mustard, the BBQ beans, Mac & Cheese, & Cajun Slaw. The beef brisket &pulled pork, sooo good! Tender & really good flavor. BBQ beans - genius. Mac & cheese - you pay extra for it, but really good!Cajun Slaw - a little bland & told that to the staff there. For someone who can't eat BBQ, the mustard flavor settles well onthe stomach. Gretchen & Ray - very personable & made already great food taste better! Love them!!! Can't wait to go backanytime & definitely next year for the nice weather & sit on the patio! They even use a delivery service that goes out to NewLondon from Norwich for only 15% of the total cost.
