What a waste of money. I'm fairly certain the kitchen staff should be ashamed of the pizza they prepared. The pizza was dripping... with sauce. There was little to no cheese and I'm certain either the ham or the pineapple is bad. Definitely not the quality ofGrottos Pizza we have had before. Read more
My better half and I stopped in for a bite to eat and a drink at the bar around 1 pm on 6/13 and ordered a 12 inch pizza. A... young blonde woman arrived shortly after with it, of whom we asked for plates, napkins, etc.. Her response was "of course" andshe disappeared for a few moments only to return with a pizza of her own which she promptly shared with another employee acrossthe bar. Meanwhile we flagged down another employee and requested the same. This one provided plates, and quicklydisappeared--no napkins... After recruiting a third employee to acquire the napkins, we were actually able to begin eating. The pizza was great, the service--not so much. Read more

Server was not attentive. cheesesteak was dry asked to add onion and mushroom and that's all that came on it so we had to send... it back for everything else. Let me mind you I work in a pizza shop, never in my life have I served a slice of pizza looking like this. My fiancé touched... The sauce, Which was dry and clearly was sitting out for hours and microwaved and my mother in law wife ended up vomiting allover the bathroom. My future mother in-law is allergic to tomato?s and lettuce and asked for her burger plain which my waitresscame back with lettuce and tomato on her burger than watching her from my seat she wanted to just take the lettuce and tomatooff and bring back the burger until another nice and wonderful waitress walked back and made sure she mad a whole new burger.That?s not even the best part you can clearly here our waitress talking rudely about us and complaining. My waitress is the onewith heavy accident, rude attitude giving us Dirty looks. I give props to the other waitress destiny with wavy hair who sokindly checked on our table and made sure our orders were right and made sure that my mother in law food was remade. Also anice cook gave us our menus and sat us down at a table. The manager McKenna was absolute amazing and understanding and weworked out the problem amazingly she handled the situation very well and professionally. Read more
It?s been YEARS. Over 10 years since I?ve been to a Grotto Pizza. Needless to say, still exquisite as the day I last had it.... Nothing quite like it anywhere else and the service is bar-none. Huge props to Pat for treating us like honored guests despitebeing a couple of out-of-towners. He took care of a small plate of wings by giving us a second plate of wings (and we didn?teven ask him to do that)! Great experience. Great food! Read more
Always a charm. My wife introduced me to Grottos over 30 years ago. Till this day, I love the pizza and everything else I have... tried. We have even taken home 1/2 cooked pizzas, back to Pa, frozen them and had them later on. No Complaints. My personal Meatlovers pizza pictured. Staff was kind / courteous and on the ball.
