The noodles are hand pulled, I don?t know where else in Ottawa they do this. The broth is delicious and the potions are huge. A... small can easily feed two people. I ordered the dry noodles (hand pulled with bean sauce and meat), and the Brine pork intestineand pork belly, both were delicious however were advertised as spicy? they were not spicy at all. Their spice level there isvery low, even their Chili oil they had on the table is not spicy. I wish they had a spicier hot sauce, other than that?greatspot in the market. Le Mien is by far the most authentic Chinese food I've ever had (I'm not Chinese). If you're looking for real Chinese food, not... the typical MSG chicken balls and chow mein that most places offer, then this is the place you're looking for. The wait staffwere very friendly and helpful, the food is prepared fresh before your eyes and the flavour, texture and aroma of the dishes areincredible. Well worth the very reasonable prices and all-in my wife and I paid $50 for the two of us to eat a medium bowl each,one Chinese pork hamburger and green tea. Great find, super fresh and smooth hand pulled noodles right in the centre of Byward Market. We ordered traditional hand pulled... noodle with soup (large) and braised beef noodle (standard), country styled beef and Chinese style hamburger. We are veryimpressed with the quality of the meat and taste and the portion sizes.
