To start, this location is always really slow. When I pulled up to the window it took about 5 minutes until they came to the... window so I could pay. Then had to wait probably another 10 minutes to get my order. The food and smoothies have also beenreally bad the past few times I?ve been. The banana chia boost smoothie I got once wasn?t even fully blended, so it was likedrinking ice and peanut butter chunks. I recently went back in hopes it would be better but this time my smoothie was pureliquid. I got the new strawberry chia lemonade smoothie and it takes like strawberry flavored water. And now the food? RecentlyI got the avocado grilled cheese, and it is far from that. The cheese is hardly melted and the bread is cold and crunchy like ithad been sitting out before I received it. Ive gone back a few times in hopes things would be better, but if I go to TropicalSmoothie again, it will not be to this location. Read more
Update: staff has changed and its much better.. They still make the cranberry truffle smoothie even thou its not on the menu... anymore.. the supergreen chicken ceaser wrap is great..and strawberry straws are good too ???? Changed their menu again. Nolonger carry some Flatbread options. Staff was impatient and not helpful when I had to change it up at last minute because theytook my favorite flatbead off the menu. Asked for more time and guy seemed put out as if he has something better to do otherthan his job. Use to go there twice a week. Probably just hit up smoothie king since they have more options and moreaffordable. Since this last review I've been back several times for their seasonal smoothie and they have a really hard timefilling the cups all the way. You pay close to $6 for a smoothie that is only 3/4 full. First time visiting a Tropical Smoothie Cafe. I went through the drive thru. The menu is expansive. I chose a strawberry banana... smoothie (I forget what it is called), a Cuban sandwich (absolutely delicious) with a side of Apple Slaw because they were outof chips. The girl at the drive through seemed apathetic. Must have been having a bad day. Not rude by any means, but not superfriendly either. Probably shouldn't be working the window. The girl who made my sandwich and brought it to me was smiley andfriendly. The food was great! The smoothie was really good, but this place gets a great rating from me because of thesandwich. The Cuban was fresh, warm and had plenty of meat and cheese in it. The flavor was perfectly balanced with the mayo,mustard and thick cut, sandwich sliced pickles. A truly satisfying sandwich!
