Been coming to this place for close to 10 years now and never grow tired of it. Tje cocktails and food are great and the... ambience inside this craftsman cottage always transports me to another era. Classic Pasadena! The Fermi Paradox cocktail is a 10and the short rib tacos on the brunch menu are excellent. But my favorite is the cinnamon roll! Read more

Old restaurant in the city of Passdena, situated in a big old house. Very cozy and cute little restaurant. The food is a mix of... everything, from Mexican to French , we had brunch on this particular day but everything tasted good. Absolutely loved the historic homeliness of The Raymond, rustic, casual, tranquil fountains and green garden setting. This... contrasted with the somewhat disjointed service, our cocktail took ages to arrive, needed follow up but was delicious when itarrived. We'd asked for mayo but by the time it arrived the fries had gone cold. It would also have been great to see morevegetarian options. Read more

We had a delightful time at The Raymond restaurant for a birthday dinner. The service to get to our table was a bit slow and the... wait staff was not able to tell us what a few menu items were but the food and ambiance was great. The salad was refreshing butthe vinaigrette could have a bit more tang to offset the fruit in the salad. The seabass and short rib were cooked to perfectionand they even brought out two desserts for our birthday celebration. Read more

Menu is ok. Food is good but pricey. Could use a little more variety. Their Old Fashioned is one of the best in the area though!... Ambiance is great. Perfect date spot, especially outside next to the fireplace. Read more

A little pricey but definitely worth it. The food, it's amazing. We got brunch here and had pancakes which were crispy, soft,... and very flavorful. We also had eggs Benedict, those were really good, all the ingredients just mix and melt in your mouth, theflavors of the poached eggs, guac, hollandaise sauce, and Canadian bacon, and the English muffin all just match each other andjust taste so good. They turned a wonderful house into a restaurant. You can tell as soon as you walk in. The outdoor patio iswonderful if the weather permits and they have a huge fireplace in one of the patios. The indoor space has a low lighting homelyambiance. They have a little bar as well, and serve drinks. They have free residential street parking, or valet for $7 at thetime. Highly recommend. A delicious dinner in South Pasadena in a historically important, beautiful, California Craftsman style former home. As the name... suggests the history dates back to 1886 which is honestly really cool. It feels really homey and just like a well-designedcraftsman in style and function. There is a ton of seating inside and outside and there is also ample parking around on the sidestreets. They also provide valet but we were able to find a space close. Our server Patrick was also really polite. I startedoff with the Steak Tartare and it was delicious. Mixing the yolk into the beef was my favorite part. For my entree I chose theOcean Trout and it was very tasty. The goat cheese accompaniment was delicious with the fish. For dessert we chose the RaymondClassic and it was gone within a few minutes. It was sinfully sweet in the best sort of way. Overall a really nice dinner. Ilove the vibe of the place as well so it’s the sort of restaurant you will want to stay awhile with your guests.
