Absolutely wonderful first experience! The ambiance was great and the food was just amazing! The service and staff were top... tier. I'm not sure who he was, maybe the owner or manager, but there was a man who brought our kids quarters for the gumballmachine and that just made their day. I've eaten here a few times now and I can honestly say the food has been consistently amazing and the service consistently... fantastic. The staff are all so nice and friendly in a genuine way. The brunch is simply delicious. The best waffles I've everhad in my life. Get one of the savory waffle options, you will not regret it. Their housemade pimento cheese is lit, no joke. Lunch menu is straightforward and simple, but the food is tasty and fresh. The chickpea salad is so good it made me forget howmuch I hate onions. The restaurant itself is cute and trendy without seeming contrived, the atmosphere is very chill and itmanages to never feel cramped or too loud, despite being fairly small. Such a cool, cozy place, but when it?s busy, it?s so loud and hard to hear since it?s such a small space. We went on a Thursday... early in the evening and we chose to sit outside since it was packed inside. The food was underwhelming. We tried the mac &cheese of the day (just ok), 5 cheese board (the bread was the best part), chicken sliders (my husband really liked these), andthe vegan cheezeburger (least favorite). We wish there was fruit on the cheese board, especially for the price. My husbandenjoyed his beer. It?s nice to support small, local businesses, so I am sure we?ll be back to try other things on the menu. Read more
