We had been looking forward to this dinner for a few days, and it was even better than we expected. Chef Jason truly outdid... himself with an enormously delicious meal. We started with a Pensacola Bay Brewery pint and a signature cocktail PalafoxPainkiller along with a Smoked Ahi Tuna Dip as an appetizer, which had a perfect smoky flavor and crispy lavash. For the maincourse we had the Salmon Pesto Salad and the Glazed Pork Chop. I'm not even embellishing when I say the Pork Chop was the mostflavorful pork dish I have had in some time if not ever. We were amazed at the perfect presentation as well. Our server Logantook excellent care of us and brought us a delightful dessert trio with homemade Cookie Monsters, Tiramisu, and Lemon MascarponeCake. I honestly cannot recommend this place enough. Went here for an early dinner with some of my lady friends after attending a local performance (The Cat's Meow) at the Little... Theater nearby. I ordered the goat cheese plate...delicious!!! My friends ordered the ahi tuna burger. She said it was verytasty. My other friend ordered the Shrimp Salad she cleaned her plate so it must have been good!! ???? Read more

It doesn't matter what the reason is for visiting The Wine Bar on Palafox; If we are getting drinks, a happy hour glass of wine,... a cheese board snack, a full table for dinner with friends, or a romantic dinner for two, they have always hit the mark. We'vehad wonderful experiences, even an incredible wine dinner with the chef's amazing tasting menu. The staff is great, the wine andbooze selection is very good. The food is always delicious. Loved sitting outside in the covered walkway. Great for people watching while visiting. Red fish and burger were really good.... Mixed drink my date had was refreshing and tasty. (Sorry, can't remember what it was called, but it was pink). If they have thelemon cake dessert, highly recommend. Sorry about the pictures of mostly eaten food. Nice location. We stopped during a very busy time. We were well taken care of. Food was great! My daughter had the hamburger... and she ate it all! (She never eats it all and this one was 1/2 pound) My other daughter got the BLT and their version isamazing. I had the butternut squash soup and now I want another bowl! Best I've had.
