I walked into this place last night and after two people left, I was the only person in the place. I sat down at the counter and... waited for service. There were 5 employees that I know saw me walk in . Eventually, all 5 of them walked in the kitchen andeventually all came out. Not one of the approached me, they continued to talk to each other. I felt invisible. Really WaffleHouse?? I decided they did not deserve my business and walked out. I could not believe no one greeted me or even approached meafter I sat down. One of the cleanest Waffle Houses I've eaten at. Didn't like the fact that when I asked if they had military discount, she said... that just about all her customers were military and they couldn't give it to everyone. New to the Waffle House experience. Overall, it is a nice place to grab a quick bite and cup o joe. I actually was surprised at... how good the waffles were as well as their sausage patties (they didn't look like much - but the taste was great)! Pro-tip:don't over do it on the syrup, these waffles don't need much. Read more
I will not eat here anymore it's not good I got egg shells on my sandwich but I didn't order anything with eggs so not sure how... that happened the bacon wasn't cooked all the way an my hash browns were so greasy then the last time I ordered the steaksandwich it just didn't taste right it was a sour taste I ate not even the half of the sandwich an ended up sick so no thank younever again.. I'm from Birmingham AL. And the waffle houses that are in my local area are decent, but you usually never get any good customers... service. I just assumed that's how all waffle houses were till I came to this one. I'm just in town for July 4th weekend and Iwas blown away by the customer service. I was greeted at the door by a very friendly employee who also showed us all availableseats. (Which has never happened in Birmingham, your lucky if they say hi) the food came out quick and the over all experiencewas by far the best I've ever had and a waffle house restaurant. Read more
