What a great hidden gem in the Catskills! The menu is extensive and with handcrafted fresh ingredient drinks, this is the spot.... A block or two off Rt. 28, this Pine Hill, NY cantina is the place to go. After a long day of skiing, we decided to check it outeven though some of our friends were snowed-in, and it certainly was worth going with our small crew. We arrived lateish on a Sunday night and all the chairs were up signifying the kitchen was probably closed. We asked the... bartender if they were still serving food and the response was so welcoming: "we just closed but of course we'll feed you, comein and make yourselves comfortable." Wow! We tried the flavored margaritas which were garnished heavily with fresh ingredients(but after I saw their tequila and mezcal choices, next time I'll be getting some shots neat!). For dinner we got salsa andchips (with two salsas) and flank steak tacos which were ample in size, delicious and served with a big side of yummy rice andbeans. Tito?s is one of the very few places to get any type of great cocktail in this Catskills area!!! The margaritas a AMAZING ????.... Krista the bartender is friendly and explains the specials in detail no matter how busy. She is TRULY a great bartender andserver. The margarita flavors change often and they use fresh and local ingredients in the cocktails AND specials. I?vefrequented here often? it?s a very nice atmosphere and setting and the staff is always so friendly and giving great service. Thedrinks and bar are truly top notch, especially compared to the alternatives. I?ve had all drink flavors and they are excellent,not syrupy or watered down, exactly what you would want from A FRESH margarita. Tonight I?m having the steak taco special withflank steak. I eat red meat about 4 times a year? this taco special was INCREDIBLE. The steak melts in your mouth? thin slicedflank steak so tender that you get an even bite of everything and not huge chunks of steak you can?t bite through in the taco.Also EXCELLENT corn tortillas. I love this place so much and I am so glad it?s here!!!! They also do Togo, which I do frequentlybut there is always space at the bar and usually space to sit outside too. Given the pandemic and the struggles restaurant facewith price increases, closing, short staff leading to slow or disgruntled service (I?m also a server it?s a nightmare workingduring short staff covid), and food item shortages or delivery issues, this place has been consistent. Everyone who works hereclearly works very hard and continues to offer the same service as they have from the start. Josh, a server and bartender (attimes) is friendly and accompanying always. I?ve never had nachos in a paella pan before, but certainly great nachos! Food is good and I would definitely go back!
The food was absolutely delicious and staff was friendly/attentive. The Elderberry & Pear margarita and the Plum & Rosemary... margarita were amazing! The braised short rib tacos with peach salsa were incredible and to top it off, the homemade blueberrylemon tres leches was wow! Love the use of what's in season/local. Read more
