IHOP Pittsburg needs to hire more cook to keep pace with the order. I've tried this place about 5 times in the last three months. Disappointed each time. Eggs aren't cooked right and are usually... cold. Forget the sausage, it's always burnt, and the kicker... they made the pancakes taste bad. How does that happen? Serviceis usually lackluster even though I always tip well. I had pre ordered some food from Dennys (across the street) well they've gotten to where they don't do pre orders they wait till... you get there to make your order! I thought if I wanted to sit here then id just come here & eat ! So I asked for my money back-they were quite rude & indignant about it! As i wS leaving i noticed the Waffle House across the street. So, I drove over & hadbreakfast- my waitress was wonderful, efficient, attentitive & pleasant ! They all work really well together & the night life inthat area is entertaining ! Toast was cold to where the butter couldn't even melt. Sweet tea needed more "sweet". Wanted a warm meal. Got a semi-warm one.
Laziest staff ever! We waited 20 minutes to even be acknowledged and seated the staff didn?t even say good morning. Once we... finally were sat we weren?t acknowledged and given dirty looks by both employees on the floor like we were there to ask for freefood. I have never gotten cold food at an IHOP until today. This location needs management who will manage not a dish washer in the... manager's uniform. Upon arrival there wasn't a hostess, we waited 5 mins to be greeted and told they needed to clean tables.The tables were quickly cleaned and we sat down, 4 adults and 2 children. After seeing the now hiring sign we presumed they wereshort staffed. We counted 6+ waitresses for less than 20 tables total, so this was not the case. We waited at least 45 minutesafter ordering our food--- it all came out at room temp, the pancakes wouldn't melt butter, hash browns were not hot, eggs werecold in the grossest way possible. My 5 year old and 1 year old wouldn't even eat the pancakes. None of the adults ate. Weasked to speak to the manager, who never came. We had to go get his attention from the kitchen as he was washing dishes. Once hereceived our complaint he waved us off and walked away, addressing no issues. Needs negatives!! My family & I went to new IHOP in Pittsburgh, Tx this morning only to be sadly disappointed. We waited over 45... minutes for our food all while we watched people that were sat down after us being served. Our food was room temperature nothingwas hot and the waitress NEVER came back to offer us more coffee our container remained empty after the first cup. Don't advisevisiting this IHop if you want hot food or good service!! Read more
