Such a disappointment. We had been once before for drinks, and the atmosphere was alright, so the high price for a few... cocktails went unnoticed. Sitting for dinner is another story. The dinner menu is limited, which is fine, I prefer that to 5pages of frozen entrees. However, the prices aren?t in step with what is being offered. We started with the beef tartare, andalthough it was as expected, I couldn?t help but feel like I was simply eating some spiced up ground beef served raw. The eggyolk on top was a nice touch. For mains, I?d considered the tenderloin, but at $45 a plate, I doubted it could live up to thatprice point. I opted for the fish, and my partner got the duck. The fish was flavourless, and while it was cooked fine, hadnothing going for it. The bed of risotto it sat upon was likewise underwhelming. The duck was better, but felt undercooked, and didn?t have the traditional crispness I associate with duck. All this accompanied by a 9oz red that we could have boughtthe bottle for the same amount, and a standard 20oz beer equally overpriced. I really don?t mind paying a premium for a mealI?ll talk about for a few weeks after. Unfortunately, I?ll be talking about this one for much longer, and for the wrongreasons. Read more

Brilliant little bistro by the babbling brook (the Ganaraska river in recession)! Highly recommend - the service is stellar, the... portions are just right, & the food is fantastic. The PEI oysters were delightful (as always), the tartare was a star, & thesemifreddo dessert was *chef?s kiss* Read more

Unfortunately it was very expensive and poorly executed food. Ordered oysters that were not properly shucked, very small and... swimming in warm water bc the ice had all melted. Friends had a 55 dollar steak that was not seasoned well. Very nice staff butcan?t recommend for the food or price. Read more
