I have always loved Ritter's, but on one of the hottest days of the year I took my 12 lb dog to share some custard. I asked for... one of the small sundae bowls with just about 1/4 cup of water. They refused! For the prices they charge, they could not spare asmall styrofoam cup with water for my dog? Not a good way to endear and respect your faithful customers. Read more

Ritter?s does a great job every time! I have never been disappointed. They always have good number of people behind the counter,... and they are all hardworking and busy. The taste is always so good! You can taste the difference in quality. Portion size isvery good as well. My personal favorite is their Sundae- Vanilla with hot fudge- so simple yet so good! Great prices, friendly & helpful customer service, delicious frozen treats! Beautiful and peaceful outdoor seating in the... summer. I was out walking my dogs on the Portage Bikeway and ended up right by Ritter's Frozen Custard. Naturally we had tostop. I got a hybrid of the Blue Raspberry and Watermelon Italian ice in a kids cup which was plenty for me. It was theextremely sweet, fruity taste I was hoping for. If you're not sure what flavor of Italian Ice to try it's okay to ask for asample. I also got the Turtle Sunday with Strawberries. It was delicious, the custard was very creamy and soft. The chocolate,caramel, and salty pecans balance was spot on! Of course, my dogs didn't go with out their Custard Pup Cup, which they loved!They also offer rides in a banana car in the summer for a small fee. Haven't tried it yet but it looks like fun for families!Highly recommend stopping by atleast once! Read more
