First time at a French restaurant and definitely not my last! I ordered the Poulet Roti (herb roasted chicken with ratatouille)... and it was very flavorful! The poached pear Helene was divine, and the waiter even brought out another one without nuts toaccommodate my mother, who is allergic to tree nuts. Excellent service and atmosphere. Read more

My husband brought me here for date night and it was immaculate. I cannot and will not stop raving about this place. The service... was amazing. You can tell a restaurant’s quality is good if their own manager is on the floor helping and Bistro Provenancedid just that! The food was a great price for the quality. We will definitely be back and highly recommend it to folks who wanta really nice night out on the town. Bistro Provenance is just what Provo needed! Read more

Delicious and the environment is great. I love the open kitchen. I highly recommend the prime rib and the orange duck. The beef... was cooked a bit well done at first, we told the server and he gave us a new one that’s medium rare.\nBone marrow is also goodand oyster.\nThe onion soup is not the best I’ve had, too salty for me, but it’s cook correctly and you might likeit.\nDessert is great. Loved it.\nService is average, actually not quite satisfied when the waitress asked us whether we wantthe dessert menu the moment the entree was put on the table, felt like she wanted to rush us out. We went opening night, the food was good and the service was friendly. They had a few opening night bugs, but overall a great... experience! The price was fair. You can tell they are taking themselves very seriously and are trying to put you as a diner inFrance. I will be going back for the good food! Read more

It\'s been a lot of years coming. I have not been a fan of most of Chef Chad\'s previous ventures. We both know I wasn\'t the... target audience either. He remembers my views all too well. Last night, he proved he can make a restaurant where I am a targetaudience. Given the place was pretty full and it was only the second day it was opened, hopefully, many others are a targetaudience too.\nWe started with the French Onion Soup and Oysters. they were both excellent. Unlike so may places, the oystersstill had the brine in the shell. Huge kudos for that.\nI went with the Moules Frites. You can see from the pictures it waslarge, and the mussels in the broth were excellent. The wife went with the Duck à l\'Orange. The orange sauce was not somethick sweet sauce like American places did in the 70\'s. It was like the old school real sauce that enhanced the well cookedsauce.\nWe finished with the Crème Brûlée and a very nice conversation with Chad and his wife Kimber. We hashed out the olddays and learned so much about where he wants things to go in his future.\nWe could not have had a better time. There are also alot of dishes we still want to eat. Since Chef will no doubt see this, there was a $15 corkage on the ticket. Read more

We tried a delicious chocolate dessert and loved it! We knew it was going to be good when we walked in the door and could smell... the lovely aroma. We’ll definitely go back to try a full dinner! Read more

Just got to eat here on their opening night. To say the food was amazing would be an understatement. I ordered the prime rib and... it was perfect. Medium rare exactly as ordered. The French onion soup was rich, and flavorful. And the presentation was out ofthis world. I regret that I can only give them 5 stars. Will be back again very soon. Read more
