We had the orange chicken. It was to die for. Delicious sauce, perfectly cooked veggies, tasty rice. Crispy chicken nuggets big... enough for 2 bites. Serving size was huge and was steaming hot when it arrived at the table. Took half home for later. Don't letthe very plain exterior and interior dissuade you if you want a great meal. First here in a few years. I enjoyed it. The egg drop soup was delicious and I have their stuffed peppers which honestly were... just meatloaf imo, but still pretty good. They have a pretty big menu with both Chinese and American dishes. Place was prettyclean and the service was good. Very friendly staff. Read more
China Lantern ranks in the top tier of Chinese restaurants in Pueblo. Best thing is they are open on Sunday so if you crave egg... rolls, beef broccoli and Kung Pao chicken you know where to go. So many items to choose from and not just Chinese. The portions are huge big enough for everyone to share and it tastes great.... The inside is a little outdated but it's comfortable once you get seated and the staff are very welcoming. We had a great younglady as our waitress and she was super helpful and attentive. This was 2nd time being here and one of these times I'll come backand try the fried chicken or something new. Read more
Good food, nice staff. The inside is a little out dated but it makes the place cozy and comfortable...just by watching the... customers you can tell this place is well liked by Puebloans and been a local favorite for many many years. We had Chinese, andit was really good and great taste but the majority of others we noticed had American food...so it must be super good. A fewpeople ordered chicken fried steak. Okay so our preferred Chinese restaurant in pueblo was closed (wonderful bistro) and saw this with mixed reviews but lemme say... the food is fire the orange chicken is like candied and so yummy (my husband's lunch, he made me try) The moogoo mushroom lunchwith shrimp also had like the best tasting sauce. Came here with several coworkers on our way through town. The service was impressive and fast. We ordered 6 different entrees... and 2 appetizers and ate everything family style. Everyone of us thought every thing was delicious. For the price, and for arelatively small town, this place was impressive. Read more
