Upon arriving inside there was a foul odor. The person working took my order and the total was 3.89. She then asked me if I had... cash because it was a 4.00 minimum on the credit card. I told her no and she said I will charge you $4.00, and this would ofbeen okay if she had given us an appropriate amount of ice cream. She put one tiny scoop in a junior size ice cream. This has to be by far the worst Carvel location I've been in. Had read reviews in the past about the ice cream being melted at... this location but didn't know just how bad it was until I went in myself. As soon as you open the door, you feel the odd smellthat comes from a humid, not air-conditioned environment (there was no AC inside). The ice cream was pretty much melted, yet ithad chunks of ice inside. It felt as though they had mixed in water with it (can't explain the presence of ice particlesotherwise), and because of the high content of water it was melting faster. Also, the chocolate ice cream had small pieces init, that felt like cardboard (not saying they were for sure, but that's how it felt; had to remove them). Not sure if mysuspicions are true but this is just me trying to make sense of it. In short, it was a bad experience. I just hope that thiswon't be a first time Carvel visit for anyone, because that just means one thing - disappointment ... Carvel Ramseyowners/operators, I hope you're reading this and taking notes. Your location is an embarrassment to the Carvel name. If all youare going to do is take offense in my comment, then you DO deserve to be shut down. On the other hand, you can use this aswell-deserved criticism and make the necessary changes to improve. The choice is your's ... Read more

I absolutely LOVE Carvel soft serve icecream. I went here with family and wanted to buy everything , but landed on a simple... vanilla cup with multi colored sprinkles like I used to have as a kid. It didnt disapoint. When I tell you how I ate that entirecup in minutes. .. whew.... it was worth the drive over. As for the staff, they were great. Service was fast and friendly.
