Was in the area and decided to walk over. How could I be a good Norwegian and not go here for some lunch. I ordered the lefse... wrapped Norwegian meatballs with mashed potatoes and gravy. It was pretty good. Grandma?s was better but grandma?s always is. Ialso got cheese curds. They were mediocre. Probably frozen. I should have skipped them for $10 and ordered pie. In Wisconsin thecheese curds should always be fresh in my opinion. The pies and desserts looked AMAZING but I didn?t have room for any. Isuggest that you order desert first here and if you have room then order dinner. I?m always too full for desert. Cool littleNorwegian food spot. Nice to trigger some old memories. Read more
This place has very delicious food if you have the time to wait unfortunately! This place is severely under staffed and they do... not take reservations either. They haven't really bounced back from the pandemic I assume! So sad, because the food here istypically worth the hassle, but currently too big of a hassle to wait in a line for 1 server and 1 cook who are trying theirbest I'm sure, we decided to go elsewhere. Will be more than happy to come back on a regular basis once they fix their staffingproblems. Read more

First time in Wisconsin and unfortunately I might not make it back for another visit. My Niece introduced me to this cute,... family favorite Norwegian restaurant. I had the Norwegian pancakes with lingonberries in the restaurant and a slice of coconutcream pie to go because the pancakes were very filling. Both were delicious! The staff was helpful and kind. Prices areextremely reasonable. They have a nice area of souvenirs. It was unfortunate they only had small sizes or I would have loved tohad grabbed a tee-shirt. They didn't have the pies we were hoping to order, but what we did have was nummy! I can see why it isher family favorite in the area. Grateful for the experience. Read more
