I absolutely love this place! I came here with my sister and I was in for a surprise when I realized how delicious Irish food... is! And what a delight that this magnificent restaurant had to offer! Absolutely delicious and I had the beef Wellington, whichwas soooooo delicious and I have never seen something cooked like that before! So amazing! And now that I moved here to theDallas metro area in Richardson by UTD, I am very close by and I can?t wait to go back! Definitely a must go if you are visitingDfw metro! Love it! Read more

My husband & I ate dinner at Gillespie\'s a couple of months ago & had a great experience. The place was busy, but the food &... service were both great.\n\nWe came back today at noon with a group of eight to celebrate family birthdays, and our experiencewas very different. There were only a few other tables occupied this time, but our service was terrible. Another table sat down, ordered, & got their food before we were able to ask our waitress to please take our food order. The small kitchen had two chefsworking so we expected that the food wouldn\'t come out all at the same time so that part wasn\'t a big deal. The food was good& enjoyed by all. No one checked on our table, asked how the food was, or refilled drinks. Two customers a table over from usgot up & left prior to ordering. A group of seven were sitting on the patio & had to come inside for silverware & to check onthe other half of their meals. We had to flag down our waitress to ask for our checks because she wouldn\'t even look at us. This wasn\'t an issue of being short staffed which made it seem more personal.\n\nOh, and please beware of the rolling chairs! My sister-in-law went to sit down & the chair flung backward before she could sit & she fell hard & bruised her tailbone.\n\nThewhole visit today was embarrassing to my husband & I as we suggested for our family to meet us at Gillespie\'s based on ourprior experience. I even called the day before to make the reservation. The food & drink options were great (hence the threestars), but I\'ll never bring anyone here or recommend it again based on today. Read more

Been here twice and always appreciate the service! Tried a baby wedge salad, and I?m obsessed with blue cheese (and dressing)... and this definitely had it! If you?re not a fan of blue cheese or only like it a little, order it on the side. Bartenders arefriendly and easy to get an order with. Heard live music there Thursday night. The music genre wasn?t necessarily my type ofgenre, but the musicians were having so much fun with it, so it made it enjoyable to watch/listen to them. Read more

I love coming here. The waitresses are always so kind and knowledgeable. We came in late and almost left because we heard the... kitchen was closed. Missed it by twenty minutes. However, they were extremely generous by allowing us to order off the menuanyways. The bangers and mash are smothered in a tasty onion gravy. The porkchop was beautifully cooked. Whoever is cooking thefood back there knows what they\'re doing. Everything was delicious and well worth the price. The drinks give a nice punch too,they\'re nowhere near watery. Read more

This place was great! Great alcohol selection and the food was awesome. We had the prime rib bites, jalapeno popper things, and... i had a poblano cheese soup for apps. Coworker had the burger and the customer had the waldorf salad, and i had the fish andchips. The apps were insanely good. We all loved everything. The fish was pretty good, you guys need to put more tartar sauce asit\'s a pretty small amount for that big serving of fish. The service was fantastic. Everyone really enjoyed this place..i willbe looking forward to visiting next time im down that way. Thanks guys! Read more

Stopped by for dinner at their soft opening and had a great time. Servers were friendly and attentive and the atmosphere has... been updated to have a Irish Pub feel. The food was excellent, proportioned well, and reasonably priced. Well stocked and nicebar, a good amount of TVs for sports, and open view of the kitchen. They?re continuing to renovate and update as I found outfrom one of the owners, and I?m looking forward to seeing all of the improvements, especially the pool table in the back room. Definitely a good vibe, a pub feel, and a friendly place. I?ll definitely be visiting in the near future. Read more
