I went to Pollo Loco during the busy dinner hour, 5:00 pm. Never Again will I do that!! The drive-thru line was out of the... patking lot. I went inside and about 6 folks in line. When I ordered my food and picked it up, I should have opened the bag andchecked the items. But I did not. When I got home and checked my items, the chips and guacamole were missing! Grrrr. This wasfrustrating. The 4 pieces of chicken were burnt/charred: the chicken wing was so burnt it was not edible. The breast and other2 pieces were so dry and tast-less that adding the salsas on them for taste and moisture was useless. And instead of corntortillas I received flour ones. Bad meal day for sure! Do not go here during dinner hour. If you do take-out, check your itemsbefore leaving the restaurant. And check the chicken to make sure it is edible!!! If not, ask for fresher pieces. I wasn't happy with my experienced today. I don't usually give bad reviews but this one is terribly handled.So I ordered online... & went to the drive thru side since the entire parking lot was full & there's only one car ahead of me & nobody is behind meeither. In short they weren't busy on the drive thru. I told the guy with the (curly hair) that Im gonna pick up my order & keepinsisting to get it inside. It was so inconvenient to cross the street just to get my order.Why do you need to make it sodifficult if you can just hand it to me since the pick up side is just literally next to you? On top of that my order wasn'tcomplete I didn't bother to come back since I was so upset! Next time please weigh up the situation!! Read more
It was a good experience, they did have a tasty menu, and they somehow care about custom orders. I did see there was a menu item... with shrimp only, but as requested, added as a fair price, chicken in the tostada. Good job by them in making me full. Read more
Today when I went to El Pollo Loco I did not have the best experience. The only thing I ordered was chips and guac and it took... them half an hour to get it done because they were serving people who came after me though what I ordered was a simple thingthey could have gotten earlier. They did not have their priorities straight today. Seems like you couldn't be served rightunless you were a police officer or complaining (both actual occurrences). They're also low staffed. There were about 20 peoplein the restaurant but one cashier. My two star rating is honestly nice. I wouldn't recommend coming here until they get theirstuff together. Read more
