This restaurant is quickly becoming one of my favorites for many reasons. The outside of the building is well kept, landscape is... expertly manicured and the Classic Diner mirrored walls on the outside shine like the day they were put in. The inside is justas beautiful as the outside, my favorite is the wall of candles, it feels like a memoriam honoring lost loved ones. The chairsare surprisingly comfortable, Sleek wooden design beautiful architecture. The service is top notch our waiter didn't haveEnglish as his first language, but we understood each other perfectly. The food was delicious as well, though it could use justa tad more flavor. Probably the best place to eat in Rochester, and definitely the best Mexican restaurant in the area. My wife and I have dined at... La Corona for nearly 10 years and we've never once been disappointed by a meal, whether eat in or take out. The food isexcellent and generally so is the service - the staff treat us like family. I also love the '50s diner vibe - it really works!Cannot recommend enough if you are into Mexican food (or burgers, the have great burgers, too!). Read more

Everything here was excellent. Service was great, everyone was very friendly. I had the Cozumel salad- the shrimp were cooked... perfectly and the mango dressing was very flavorful. My husband had a shredded beef chimichanga and it was also very flavorful.Drinks were great too and prices are reasonable. We will certainly return when we are in the area. Read more

Another amazing Google find. Super friendly staff and delicious food. The salsa was tasty. Ask about the chairs from Mexico... because the owner is very proud of them as they are very cool. The place ware was also cool and from Mexico. We can highlysuggest La Corona. Read more

Friendly staff, very reasonable prices, gorgeous retro diner exterior and even great music -can't think of a single bad thing to say. Read more

Overall we really enjoyed our experience. The margaritas were excellent and probably what I'll come back for. Fajitas were good... but wouldn't be in my top tier. The freshly made guac was awesome. Read more

I?ve been going here for over a year and I wanted to wait to make this review to see if my opinion would stay relevant. It is.... La Corona offers incredible service, I love Juan, he?s super attentive and friendly. The food is amazing, I try something newevery time I go and I haven?t been disappointed. I went for my own birthday and a friends and if you let them know they makesure to make your birthday dinner memorable. The atmosphere is beautiful as well, along with music consistently playing.
