Went here for the first time and was excited to try it but was very disappointed. the customer service is terrible and the... employees are just overall rude. my boyfriend had ordered a steak egg and cheese and looked at his sandwich before he ate causehe had a bad feeling and when we checked the steak it was green/blue. when he took it back they said it was normal and to proveit to him the cashier ate it in front of him and said it tasted fine. the hashbrowns were horrible as well. Went for a quick pickup before my meeting. The guy behind the counter forgets to put in my order . After waiting in a tight area... with lots of traffic for 20 minutes then he remembers he didn?t put the order through. Now I wouldn?t write this reviews if hedidn?t lie as soon as I asked him did you forget ? He says no I put the order in. He goes in the back and tells the cook toquickly put a bagel together. I did an online order and it said it would take 45 minutes. I got there about 10 minutes prior to wait so that it wasn?t sitting... on the counter cooling. When I got there, my food was already done, and the staff said it was just sitting there for 5 min. Itook the bagel out, and it was cool to the touch. I took a bite, and it was hard to bite. Obviously, it wasn?t sitting for just5 minutes. The bagel was nothing special. It literally tasted like the ones you get from a grocery store. I ordered a muffin aswell which wasn?t fresh at all. Local spot with delicious, chewy bagels in a number of flavors. The Black Russian and Pumpernickel bagels are something special!
Just so you know, place your order at the end of the store, THEN go to the register to place the order. I saw someone wait for... an order that was never being worked on. With that being said, I enjoyed the shop. It was a quaint little shop with a localdiner feel. It can get crowded fast. I really loved the lox with the jalapeño bagel. It was GOOD. They also have an smalloutdoor dining area which I chose to sit at that was nice. Can't wait to try new sandwiches! Read more
Awesome place! We ordered bagels and coffee from here to our annual meeting at a conference center right down the road and the... service was exceptional. Lee was extremely helpful and even helped me out over the phone after closing time the day before toget the order in and his wife Angie made purchasing over the phone a breeze the next morning.
