I decided to try Hook & Reel while visiting the area and I am so glad that I did. The food was amazing. The crab legs were big... and the Hook & Reel seasoning is one of a kind. A great experience and our first time at Hook & Reel. We were seated right away and greeted by Justin who quickly filled our... beverage order. This place has great atmosphere and very friendly staff. Our food was excellent! I had clam chowder and achicken Po-Boy which was very tasty but I wished I had ordered a boil like the others at our table did cause it smelled sodelicious! Our server Savannah was friendly and very polite. We will definitely come back and try the rest of the menu. Managereven stopped by the table to make sure that everything was great. This place is phenomenal!!!!! The food has so much flavor and perfectly cooked. I had a mini shrimp boil with the hook and reel... special seasoning and it is delicious. Also the crab bites appetizer is a MUST TRY.. Also the customer service isOUTSTANDING!!!!! You definitely will not be disappointed. Nautical interior and jazzy pop music is played in the background. If youwant a conversation, talk louder than normal. Can order food in a bag or baskets. I chose the basket this time. Food was good until I got to this. Dirty shrimp got sick to NY stomach instantly. Asked for the manager who in my opinion didn't... care. First thing he said was I can't take it off the bill. I didn't ask for him to. He asked if I wanted him to have them makethe 1 shrimp over. No sir this is unacceptable. Larry the general manager needs to be retrained on customer service. Me and my fiance went here for the first time yesterday and the food was great definitely tasted like it was made with love the... seasoning they use is perfect. Everything we got arrived hot, but we did sit and wait for over a hour just to get our firstdrinks/food, the system they used with the tablets didn't put our order threw at first so our waitress came and let us know, shewas very polite and friendly. So we put our order back in and shortly after we got our food our margaritas came too. The onlyother down side was when I went to the bathroom only one stall had toilet paper, I would just recommend they check on that alittle more often so they don't get complaints because over all I would definitely go back. We was seated fast. But when the waitress came she sat in our booth and took the order. After taking the order she never came... back the bust boys was the ones that helped there after.
