For once a place that actually lives up to the hype in the quality of their food!! So tender, moist, and delicious. We ordered... 1 rack of ribs, 1 lb of Brisket, 1/2 lb of pulled pork, 2 qt of Mac n cheese, and side of Cole slaw. All 7 of us were stuft andhad plenty of leftovers for later. Decent food, the ribs are fall off the bone but the seasoning is not great like other BBQ places I've been all over the country.... The brisket is decent as well, dry in center. Awesome atmosphere with antique things, awesome seating, good service. Read more
If you come to Roswell New Mexico this bbq spot is a must!!!! My favorite was definitely the queso on the brisket nachos!!!!... Yummy ???? They have a huge food challenge here for big eaters! Man vrs food did a show here! The bar and TV setup is great!!Lots of great parking for trailers or RV?s easy in and out. Overall fantastic bbq and cold beer!! They stafff is super friendly.???? Dog friendly with excellent bbq, terrific sides, and yummy desserts. The staff are super friendly and attentive. We ordered... takeout because we were traveling with a dog, but they welcomed us in with open arms. So we ate there, which was great becauseit was 98 degrees out. Highly recommend. We were exploring the wonderful city of Roswell New Mexico and stumbled upon this hidden gem just a few streets in from Main... Street. The vibes you get as you walk in are friendly and welcoming and wait staff was really helpful, friendly and mostimportantly attentive to our needs, but the real treat was in the wonderful smokey flavors of the pecan wood they use to smoketheir meats with. The Jalapeño poppers and brisket nachos appetizer were a fantastic start to our meal and then we were treatedto some seriously good BBQ. Our brisket plate was truly amazing, so tender and juicy with just the subtle flavors of the pecansmoke. The Hazmat pulled pork sandwich was delicious, on soft sweet delicious roll. The baked beans were most excellent and someof the best we have had. The coconut tea was unexpectedly delicious and the green chili apple pie was extraordinary! If you findyourself in Roswell in search of aliens or checking out some of the amazing works of art at the numerous galleries and get thehankering for some seriously delicious BBQ you?ve gotta stop by and see the team at Backdraft BBQ you?ll be glad you did. Awesome atmosphere! The people are awesome and friendly! The food was outstanding... we had brisket that melted in your mouth,... chicken that was outstanding and the sausage was perfect, Great BBQ Sauce to complement it all. However it is not needed theflavor and moisture was perfect without the sauce. The sauce is just a nice additive to dip or add to a sandwich if you want. itis a must try if your in Roswell NM.
