Typically goof experiences. Yesterday we went and the girl taking our order went from happy to sounding annoyed quickly. Not... sure if it was because we were ordering different happy meals or if she heard the kids talking but sounded extremely annoyed andcame off as rude. I work at McDonald's on Madison Ave in Mankato. I work breakfast lunch dinner, all of it and I've never seen worse costumer... service than this morning when I stopped for a coffee and hotcakes in saint Peter. I understand that it gets busy and peoplemess stuff up under the pressure, but we didn't get any kindness either, no thank yous no sorrys just here you go. And when wewhere given our order wrong they did fixed it with the wrong amount. I don't ever say this to dis a company I seriouslyunderstand how stuff gets messed up. I've been there and I've slipped up too. But this didn't seem like there was any kindnessabout it either. I really want to see improvement, I love working at mcds and I don't want to see another company struggling.Please know, I get it. It's not the orders that upset me that makes sense if it's busy... I haven't been to this McDonald's for over a decade and boy, has it changed! The long order counter is gone, instead there's an... order counter with 1 employee behind it. There are 4 self-order stations, so one doesn't have to interact with another human.Next to the order counter with a human behind it, is the pick-up station. There's no refill station for sodas, so I'm thinkingthat one must have to go back to the counter to request a refill. There is a small condiment station; with napkins, a ketchuppump and small cups, and salt/pepper packets. It's clean and the staff is friendly. I'm not a fan of the new rotating menu onthe big screen TV. Once I FINALLY find an item that I've been looking for, the screen shifts to a whole new menu and the searchbegins anew! ???? Read more
The most recently remodeled McDonald's we've been too. It is nice but we sure miss the old days of McDonald's. But besides that... the food is good and fast service. Read more
The food was ok, and workers using inappropriate language. I dont expect to have my food like what you see on the tv, but... expect BETTER than my posted pic. Not recommended! I'm sending pic on to corporate level. Comment: A friend of mine was withme in the drive thru. I was gonna use the receipt for doing the survey for a buy one get one free quarter pounder with cheese.They tell us that we have to go inside to use the receipt. So we go inside, I asked for a manager, and she says we could of donethat in the drive thru. So I got mad, like anyone would do, threw the receipt down on the counter, and she refused to serve usbecause I was being rude. So we left, and went to the mcdonalds in Mankato, where there were no problems at all. So, the one inst. peter, mn needs a lot of work. First of all, they can't make up there mind on whether I should take that receipt in drivethru or inside, then wonder why I get mad, then refuse to serve me. The one in st. peter should be shut down.
