First time having Hawaiian bbq food. Came with my brother, the food was good. I personally can?t say i loved it, but my brother... does and thats what matters cause he will be here on base for quite some time. He truly enjoys the meals here. I had the locomoco, which was white rice with beef patties and two eggs on top with gravy and a macaroni salad. It was tasty. My mom hadthe garlic shrimp plate, she enjoyed her food, but complained that there was lots of oil on the bottom. My dad had the bbq mix,and he also liked his food. I can say that the place is busy, people came in and out ordering food, the whole time we werethere eating. Its a very popular spot. I?m certain my brother will be back to eat here again. Read more
Food, Portions & Service we?re all great. The staff had no problem making substitutes on orders and were very polite. The MAC is... so good! Tables were cleaned quickly and everyone received greetings upon entering and farewells when leaving. Good experience. Read more
First time trying this place. Walked in the door, we were greeted with "Aloha!". After that I didn't feel welcome. The person... who took our order, Isabel Garcia, was less than friendly. We stood to the side so patrons could order while we looked over themenu. We decided on what to order, she was not friendly. Dismissive. We waited a while for our food. She brought our food to us,asked if we wanted condiments. I said I don't think so, and didn't even get to ask her what condiments they had as she walkedaway saying "okay" not even looking at us. Wow !! This was amazing growing up with traditional Hawaiian kalua pull pork this was delicious! No complaints! Staff is super... sweet and friendly. Not too long of a wait time for the food .
