Good local brewery. If it's crowded downstairs, the upstairs seating area is nice. Also, the best BBQ in San Diego is right next... door. Read more

Great spot to hang out. Dog-friendly, and a good amount of outdoor space. The bartender (gray beard, didn't catch his name) was... very nice and helpful. Chatted with us a bit about his dog and our dog, and when we tried using an online gift card he dideverything he could to input it manually, scan the QR code, etc. When it didn't work he suggested emailing support, they clearedup that the card could only be used online, so I used it to pick up some beer at the Barrio Logan location where they were veryfriendly as well. The bar tender was super helpful about describing and recommending what's on the menu that would satisfy my palette. The place... welcomes dogs, so open and great place to hang out. Parking may be a little challenging, gotta park along the streets but youcan find one, just time it right. There's a food truck outside that will complement what's on tap if you have craving for food Read more

We had a delightful time this afternoon at Thorn Street brewery. In South Park San Diego. I had a flight of the hazy, relay,... Hoppy IPA and the Porter. He had a pint of lager. They require that you purchase a five dollar food truck coupon for eachperson. Which I understand because of COVID-19. I was pleasantly surprised by the IPAs. They were very smooth and drinkable, yetinterestingly as the time went on and the beer got warmer, the IPA became more hoppy. I love their outdoor space and whatthey?ve done with the place since the last time I was there two years ago. The bartender was attentive, helpful and sanitizedthe tables before we sat down. I will be reviewing the noodle food truck in another review. The food was great. Read more

Went here for a Girl Scout cookies and beer tasting. . . It was amazing. This is just a nice community bar, the beer is good and... the people are awesome. If you want a nice spot to chill and kick back this is it. Plus they normally have a food truck outsideand it is dog friendly. You are allowed to bring food in too. So the food truck, the bbq spot and the pizza place are all fairgame. Read more
