This has to be one of the worst run food establishments in San Luis Obispo if not west of the Mississippi. Good pizza but expect... to hold the employees hands through the process like little kids at a bake sale. Also allow 45+ minutes for the experience. Read more

I work with the public and believe if you are rude you shouldn't work with the public. These guys had no personality, just rude,... didn't listen to what I wanted on my pizza or what I actually ordered. I don't think I will go there again Read more

Really bad service. It appears they are understaffed and the employees no longer care to try. online order wasn?t even started... by the scheduled pickup time. 30 minutes later and the employee must set it off to the side instead of putting in pickup area orcalling name. Then simply ignored me. Read more

I took an hour to get my pizza due to the lack of employees, there was only one guy! This was the worst experience at a Blaze... location. Read more

It?s the chipotle of pizza! Build-your-one is totally the way to go. I?d give 5 stars if Blaze didn?t have a company policy of... chintzing on toppings. If you build your own, you pretty much have to beg to get a decent amount of cheese or whatever toppingyou ask for... it?s not the employees; they are regulated on how much they?re allowed to add unless the customer asks for more. If you have no shame and don?t mind asking and asking and asking, you end up with a great pizza for a great deal! The toppingsseem fresh and the agua frescas are DELISH! Just expect about 1/2 hour from walking in until you get your pizza. For fasterpizza, order ahead on the app. The employees here are really nice. They?re usually pretty busy, but it?s worth the wait! I came here for lunch with my parents and ordered a build your own with all the toppings I enjoy. This is something I like about... Blaze is they are happy to continue put toppings until I am satisfied. My parents also enjoyed making their own creations. Thisis my first time going in SLO can't wait to continue go when I am in the area. Read more

Blaze is great if you go when it is not busy. Otherwise, the pizza's come out burnt, the line is slow and place is a mess. But... for 8.00 you get a 12 inch personalized pizza with as much toppings as you can coax the employees into giving you. It is also ahit or miss weather they have the toppings you want. I went on Sunday and no chopped tomatoes, time before that, out of pestosauce. The time before that my husbands pizza came out burnt. When he took it back to complain they made a big deal aboutremaking his pizza and told him he would have to go to the back of the line. However, someone else stepped in and moved him tothe make line and remade the pizza. It seems like they have a high staff turn over rate. Every time I've gone in there, thereare tons of employees but no faces I recognize from the time before. They are now carrying a new soda, which I love, made withcane sugar. So if you can avoid the crowd, get a your pizza without getting it burned, for 8 bucks it's not to bad to sit out onthe patio and get some sunshine. Read more
