Update to my review: i addressed my concerns and spoke to the area Director of Rudy?s and he was going to speak with the Santa... Fe store manager about my concerns. With that said i appreciate that they are trying to do better with their staffing andavailability of their food. First i must say i typically like Rudy's. However every time we go to the Santa Fe Rudy's they saythey are out of the smoked baked potato. We are going early in the day (like 4 or 5pm) and we are told they won't have any thatday. Why have something on the menu that's not available? If it's not available it should be hidden from the menu as i justwaited in line only to find out there is no smoked baked potato again once i reached the register. Also we've tried to ordertakeout numerous times and they always tell us they aren't doing take out at this time. So we go wait in line. Seems like it'snot being properly managed. We travel just to come to the new Rudy's. So glad Santa Fe has one! So much to enjoy here. The staff was super helpful and... friendly. The food is delicious! Was greeted by friendly employees at the front of the restaurant for our first visit. They explained the way everything works... and checked on us during the visit. The person that took our order was patient and friendly. The brisket sandwiches weredelicious. Cooked perfectly. We got a banana pudding to share and it was delicious. Nice addition to Santa Fe. The staff was great. The young man who helped us was great. Wish I had gotten his name. (The staff waiting to clean our tables... were also polite) Our first visit and we are from Michigan. I?ve gone to the Rudy?s in Albuquerque and remember it it being way different taste-wise. My Girlfriend and I ordered the... brisket, sausage, cream corn, and the peach cobbler. We usually don?t eat a lot of bbq or smoked stuff but we have tried it atother restaurants. I don?t know if it?s us but both of us thought the brisket basically tasted like smoke to the point it wasoverpowering. I don?t know if that?s normal but we both really didn?t like it. She said she would never go back. However,everything else we ordered was delicious. Maybe next time I?ll just stick to pulled pork. Read more

I wasn't sure what to expect as I've never been to a Rudy's restaurant. I really enjoyed it. The meats have a great smoked... flavor and the BBQ sauces are just right. You can taste anything you like to help decide what to order. Tons of parking allaround the standalone restaurant. They were out of pulled pork. Brisket was good. The turkey was amazing. The potato salad waspretty good. All of the cold sides are enough for two people. Recommend. Read more
