Service was mediocre. Our group ordered a mix of traditional meat sandwiches and vegetarian sandwiches and they were large... portions, tasted fine but greasy and nothing special. I'm obsessed with their BLT sandwich. The bacon is so thick and the ingredients are fresh. The staff are always friendly and... I've never had issues with my order. A bit expensive as far as sandwiches go, but worth it if you can spare the extra few bucks! Read more
I've eaten here many times and the food is excellent. As a to-go option honey hole is a great time and I love their sandwiches.... However, it feels like the Jefferson location has been understaffed or otherwise overwhelmed because the service has not beenvery good, especially recently. I am more than happy to wait a while after placing an order for food, but my girlfriend and Iwere hungry and waited about fifteen minutes for someone to just come talk to us at our table and that never happened. Weultimately decided to just leave and get food elsewhere which was a huge bummer, but we were just too hungry to keepwaiting. To give as much credit as possible to honey hole, it's true that my girlfriend and I originally tried to sit outsidebefore giving up from the cold and moving inside, which likely complicated things for the staff. However, sitting outside wasoffered as an option by the host when we walked in and we still waited over ten minutes once inside to be given a chance toorder our food and that just never happened. The bar here makes great drinks. The food is good and flavorful, just the bread can be too much and too hard. Flavor of... sandwiches and sides is excellent. Waitstaff seems overwhelmed no matter how few customers there are. Read more
I was not impressed with this place, nobody greeted us at the door so we sat ourselves on the patio. Not once did anyone ever... greet us or come to take our order so we went to the bar. It seemed they were more interested in tending to the large group nearus, we ended up not ordering food and only had a drink then left. Had service been better we would have spent more. Read more
The sandwiches are good but the service at the Jefferson location is just terrible. I went with my husband today, on a quiet... Sunday, there were 4 or 5 other tables besides us. We waited long enough to get helped that when the server finally came over toour table, I was ready to ask for both my drink and meal at the same time. And our greeting on top of that was just ?hi, are youready to order? When I was in the middle of ordering the server said ?one second? and then walked off to the bar to I guess asksomething about the margarita I ordered..? My husband at that point decided to just go with a beer to avoid any furthercomplications. His beer came out quickly and I don?t know if the server forgot to enter my margarita or if the bartender missedit?but again we waited and had to ask about my drink. The other server we asked even apologized for the service! When my drinkwas ready the bartender came out and slammed the margarita on the table without even looking at me. I?m a pretty understandingperson typically, but the unfriendly and slow service is not worth the hype of the sandwich. The sandwiches actually came out ingood time and yes, they were good, but we?ll stick with takeout going forward. Hey Alan was fantastic. We sat at the bar and he was super friendly and accommodating about our questions. We had some excellent... beer and I was able to get a delicious version of an off menu cocktail I used to get in the past. Thanks honeyhole for alwaysbeing great.
