We visited because we knew it was balloon feista weekend. And we knew everything in sussex would be busy... we were there for... breakfast. I was with my husband, son and daughter in law. It took forever to get the server's attention.. coffee was ordered,no cream or sugar in site.. after ten mins she brought that.. but then no utensils. So she comes to take our order after about ahalf hour. Another half hour to get the food( only about 15 people in the restaurant). Food was just....ok..plain ,bland and notreally very big portions... for what we paid.. my husband and I paid nearly 40$ and my son and dil paid 50!! Recently stopped in for a meal after our trip along the Fundy Trail, which was spectacular. Had a chat with owner Larry Adair... who I hadn't seen for several years. Our meal was all homemade and delicious as always. Our waitress was awesome and she took our order without writing it down....impressive. couldn't resist the excellent homemade pie. Wow . That is your first impression when you arrive at Adair?s and also when you are leaving. Could not have asked for better... service. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Rooms were set up perfect , very clean and the beds were super comfortable. We were a group of 18 and they accommodated any request we had. The staff even stayed late so we could enjoy our supper withoutrushing. Thank you for that. Read more
Very beautiful spot, even friendlier people. I'm wanting to go in the summer now. The food is very good, the rooms/cabins are... clean and good sized. No cellular service was a huge plus for me, no interruptions at all! Read more
What an unexpected treat! I had driven by this a few times without knowing it was a restaurant, and only now do I realize what a... mistake that was. Last night I had some of the best cooked fish and chips in my life, the batter was crisp and light, the fishwas moist and delicate, the the hand cut fries were perfection. Service was very pleasant, prompt and attentive. Cannot waitto go back and experience the rest of their menu! Read more
