Super crowded. The cook did a great job holding it down, but I wasn't feeling the cashiers vibe at all. If I wasn't so hungry I... would've cursed her out but I'm glad I didn't ???? But still they did great. Work on that attitude! You never know whatsomeone's going through! Read more
I first asked for a steak omelette no cheese the cook added cheese and brown the egg I've been to a lot of waffle houses this is... absolute worst cook I've ever had in my life. Then I asked them just make me some eggs over easy they took my cold hash brownsand toast off of my old plate put them on my new plate and then undercook my eggs to the point where they were so runny Icouldn't eat them so help me God this was an absolute disaster Read more
Met up with a friend who was heading through the area at 03:30am. At that time there aren?t many options that would not be too... much of a detour for him. i don?t normally leave reviews but i am genuinely displeased by the experience i just had there. our server gabby, first off did... not greet us. when we came in, she just stared at us. she was very quiet & dry. between me & my sister in law, we had to ask forher side of pickles 4-5 times. the server walked away as i was still speaking. my sister in law ordered a sandwich plate & onlygot the sandwich until i asked the server about it & she said ?oh, you wanted the plate?? duh.. she didn?t say sandwich only. wewaited about 4 minutes to be cashed out while our server stood there & ignored us the whole time. i?d understand if the storewas busy but it wasn?t. we were her only table. i worked as a server for 3-4 years, i know what it?s like & i?m not trying tosound like a Karen but i?ve never had an experience like that nor would i ever treat one of my own tables like that. i don?texpect top tier service from waffle house but that?s definitely not how you treat customers. i?ve had bad days as a server, butyou?re never supposed to let the customers know that. it?s not hard to just slap a fake smile on your face & listen to peoplewhen they talk. Was traveling back to Texas. Got a hotel room & went to Waffle House. There was only 1 other person in the business. The staff... appeared to be giving a possible new hire a hard time by giving confused instructions. He got frustrated at the other staffmembers & they laughed at him. My order came out correct but my spouse's came out wrong. Not bad enough to return. Maybe thefact there was only 3 patrons provided an attitude of playing around. The other patron was an older man sitting at the countertelling stories of how he had worked with a number of notable musicians. Maybe better management? Read more
