Good coffee and pastries, but what happened to the inviting atmosphere? They used to have comfy furniture and an extremely... talented jazz singer who added to the cool, eclectic vibe. Now there?s just stiff tables and chairs, and echoing silence. It hasas much appeal as an office break room. Please bring back the character that once had the movie scouts (and the rest of us)seeking this place out. Read more

Wow! Bean Town has a whole new look out front. Someone drove thru the window, hence the renovation! ???? Delicious lemon tart... and other scrumptious pastries. Glad this Sierra Madre landmark has survived & hope it keeps the old coffeehouse culture &charm. Will be back to support! Read more
Bean Town is everything that a neighborhood needs in a coffee shop. They have excellent coffee, a fine selection of breakfast... items, and a living room vibe that encourages you to stay a while. I also like that is a place to work and meet with others.Heck, I think this would even be a comfortable place to take your favorite someone for a date (even if it was you pup on thefront patio). Bean Town is a great place to hang out and study or write lesson plans. They have an assortment of delicious baked items that... pair well with their teas and coffee. Their smoothies are flavorful but quite sweet. Their sandwiches are good if you are on thego. The staff is friendly but often busy with other orders. We enjoy the decor and the arrangement of seating. Read more
I?ve been coming to beantown for 7 years. It?s like a second living room for the regulars here. I? love this place. The drinks... are great and the burgers are delicious. The baristas are friendly. The space is comfortable and relaxed. It is the perfectneighborhood coffee shop. Don?t ever change Bean Town. Read more

Such a nice coffee shop and great staff , but the Air Conditioning is really sucks ! It was 103 outside, the owner is only... running some useless fans inside !!! Read more
