Always have an issue with this dunkin donuts. Today was the last time ill ever spend my money here. The young girls that work... there need to learn some manners. Passing my sons nesquik through the window it dropped to the ground/pavement. I asked foranother one after I got out of the car and picked it up. Another girl comes to the window and snaps at me... " well how did itfall?" Gives me a had time about getting me a new one. That i even had to tell her. I don't understand why you want to argue. Smithtown dunkin employs staff that are nasty and makes assumptions about customers. They have staff that don't understand what... it means lightly toasted lightly buttered. Every time I've gone there and asked for a bagel lightly toasted lightly butteredthey either over butter it where there is melted butter in the bag or some part of the bagel is burnt like charcoal. I have been to this store approximately 15 times in the last six months and each time the staff was quick and courteous. The... staff also lets me know which donuts and pastries may not be the freshest. Update: STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. Service is terrible and if I could rate ZERO stars I would. Had to come back to this god... forsaken Dunkin? Donuts because the one we usually frequent was closed. Stood there for 15 minutes waiting for someone to evenacknowledge our presence. One kid counting his drawer by the ice cream counter couldn?t be bothered (which I get; he?s trying toleave) and the other two girls behind the counter ignored us the entire time we were there ringing a woman up the entire time.It shouldn?t take two people to take a credit card payment, and they could?ve at least apologized for the wait and acknowledgedthat we had been standing there. Walked out without anyone even noticing and no ice cream.. Came in for milk shakes and washelped by Sonia, she didn?t look thrilled to be working- I get it it?s a holiday and it?s nice out. However, my fiancé ordereda medium milkshake and when she put it down on top of the ice cream display (rude if you ask me, it should?ve been handed over)it was pure liquid. I spoke up about it and mentioned politely that the shake was all milk and she began arguing with meclaiming it only calls for 1 scoop of ice cream in a medium shake and she ?put 3 scoops of ice cream in so it?s fine.? She didnot offer to re-make it, she was rude and my fiancé was too embarrassed to ask for a new one or replace it with regular icecream since clearly Sonia isn?t trained properly and doesn?t know how to make a milkshake. For Valentine's day, I decided on Saturday to pick up a six pack of those pretty looking heart shaped donuts. I bought them... around noon thinking that they should be nice and fresh. I remembered how soft and nice they were, WELL they were not soft orfresh. They were horrible. Next time I will go to Shop Rite on Rt 111 and buy my donuts there. At least I know that they will befresh and what I expect in a donut!! Read more
