Amended: I went to the store and showed them the gristle and how badly burnt the wings were. The person who I originally spoke... to on the phone was adamant that I could not get them remade or a refund even after telling them that I would gladly come in andshow them the issue with the wings the man on the phone ended the conversation by calling me *sweetie ** in a condescendingmanner.I understand mistakes can happen in a busy kitchen but when they do occure at least try to fix them and make it right. I'm happy they did have someone on staff who is understanding of the situation when I popped in and they remade them withoutincident. I will put a picture of the wonderful coal fired wings that they remade for me , Sal's truly do have some of the bestcoal fired wings in the state but not the ones I had first received. This review is base on pizza order. Pizza crust was very good. Sauce taste was salty. Price was very affordable. Place looked... clean. This is my first time ordering from this place but it won't be my last. I got the chicken gyro and my husband got the... cheesesteak. My gyro was really good. I couldn't believe the size of chicken pieces that was put on. They were great! The garlicknots had just the right amount of garlic and butter per knot and the mozz sticks were so good and cheesy. The fries for my gyrowere a tad rubbery when they got here so I will ask next time for them on the side. A vented container would be a good idea. Fantastic pizza especially coal fired Margherita. Didn't do a 5 star because sausage tastes funny. Not Italian sausage. Besides,... Italian sausage on pizza should be slices of cooked Italian sausage not ground up. There is a difference. Read more
