I stopped here for the first time a few weeks ago! I got the jollof rice and chicken and it was so delicious!!!! My husband... got peanut soup and fufu and loved it! I had a wonderful time at Asanka! Chef Michael was amazing- he took the time to explain the dishes and also made suggestions on... what to get. We had Egusi soup, one with chicken and one with trout. Michael is the sweetest!! We had goat light soup, Egusi with fish and jollof rice with chicken. They were all delicious. Spicy... but not overpowering. I think we?ve found our new spot. I really enjoyed the egusi soup with banku and grilled tilapia, although it didn't really seem like a soup. Very strong nice... flavors. Also, enjoyed the maltina drink. Very rich sweet flavor. Read more
