One of my favourite spots for sure! The patio is such a great spot to hang out, especially with all the extras back here. Today,... on a Sunday we get to enjoy some live music with our meal. Danielle great service friendly recommendations. Had 2 17 Mile Burgers and Fish and Chips. Burgers fresh with perfectly cooked... bacon. If it's been a while since you've had a real Beef burger this place is worth the drive. Oh my goodness this place was awesome!!! The seafood chowder in a sour dough bread bowl is the absolute best!!! The staff is... friendly and very accommodating!!! A friend and I had lunch here. I had the baron beef with side salad and it was absolutely delicious, went well beyond my... expectations. My friend had the fish and chips but was a little disappointed on the portion sizes but fish was good. Service wasfriendly but seemed like she forgot about us at the end as we waited 20 mins for the bill. Parking was tricky. We'll be back asoverall we were satisfied. ???? Read more
Just had an amazing dinner at the 17! Fresh Spicy garlic prawns cooked and seasoned perfectly to start ( I could eat a mountain... of those). Then a 2 piece fish and chips (definitely only needed one piece) Huge portion and again cooked just right until moistand flakey. Will be back for sure! Read more

Wow?just love this place! We stayed for the winter on Vancouver Island in 20/21 and we were a half an hour from this pub in... Sooke. We just couldn?t stayed away! Probably came close to trying everything on the menu. Built in 1894 as a hotel, became aregular stagecoach stop, a church and school. Later it became a pub in 1920, when it housed the only phone in the area, and theowner obtained a beer license to entice patrons from long distances. We are back again for the winter and looking forward toour first dinner and drink! With it?s amazing history and great atmosphere I would recommend this pub to anybody! Read more
