My wife & kids stopped by for dinner on Friday, November 4. We usually patronize the Penn Station in Mayfield Hts which is much... closer to our home. My wife was fixing plates and noticed the fries tasted OLD. She called the store (mind you she left a tipfor the staff while she was there) and spoke to a young lady who sounded immediately defensive. ?I don?t think your fries wereold because your sandwich was one of the first ones made) frequent patrons on PS know sandwiches are made to order - fries aresitting and waiting for the sandwich to join them in the takeout bag. We finally got the manager who was another version of thefirst young lady - she asked, ?why didn?t you check your food before you left?? So, for us Penn Station gets $0 of our takeoutfood budget. Pulled in at 9:37 and the doors were lock. I?m very disappointed that I drove all the way here to not be serviced. The hours... stated online and on the door close was 10pm. TLDR: Rude customer service, closing before posted times, mediocre food, will not be coming back or recommending. Oh where to... start. The gentleman taking our order was patient and friendly enough even though he seemed confused that we didn't know whatall the options were to put on our sandwiches. It was our first time there and we were still figuring out the menu. We then getto the cashier who seems visibly irritated that we are there and that she is working. We didn't know about the fries or freshlemonade until we got to the cashier because that's where the displays are, so we asked to add fries to the order. She throwsher hands up and stomps off in a fit because she has to now drop another order, which really made us feel great. I asked toswitch one of our fountain beverages to a lemonade, and again this seems like the biggest inconvenience that she has everexperienced. I'm not always expecting a smile and for someone to acknowledge me as even a paying customer in this aftercovid-age, but I don't appreciate feeling like our business is so unwelcome for whatever reason there was. We were polite andfriendly and only got angst and attitude in return. Then we get our order and try to sit down to eat, and after unpacking ourfood at the table, we are told that the dining room is closed. It is 9:20pm at this point, and online and on their physicalfront door it says they close at 10pm. I ask if they close the dining room early so we know in the future and she says it closeswhen they close at 9:30. Not only is this time different than advertised, but it wasn't even 9:30 yet. We would have been happyto eat and be out by this new closing time, especially since we arrived 50 minutes before thier posted closing time.
