The main problem with this place is you have to pay for your food and tip before you sit down to receive the service and food. ... This can easily lead to sub-par service and food, and both were all bad here. The Navajo taco was a soggy mess and flavorless. My table got no drink refills nor plate clearing. Unfortunately, I ended up back there for dinner and the food was a tickbetter, but the service was just as bad. The management really needs to figure it out. It's a great location with very nicepeople working there. This place should be an easy homerun. Read more
The Red Rock Grill at Zion lodge is located at the base of emerald pools trail. Ice cold beer with an amazing patio view. Pretty... good food with very friendly service!! Firecracker rolls were pretty good similar to TexMex rolls from Cheese Cake Factory Thehummus wrap was an great alternative for something light. Definitely NOT bagged salad. Read more
Good sit down restaurant. You order from the cashier and then everything is brought to your table. The service is nice as they... have a work program that brings young people from other countries. It?s nice to hear the variety of languages and lifeexperiences. Also, the food was good. Our kids liked the noodles and we had the steak. We also came back for the breakfastbuffet. Just awful. This could be a great place to eat, given its splendid views of the park and of the opposing mountain range. But... somehow they messed it up. One would usually expect to sit down and order food like in a normal restaurant and just relax. AtRed Rock Grill, though, it works like a fast food eatery: You first wait in a queue at the entrance, then you select and pay foryour food and drinks at the counter, finally you get a table assigned to which the food will be delivered. If you wish to ordera dessert or a second round of drinks you need to walk back to the entrance, just like at McDonald's. After having tried it fordinner, whose food quality was just OK but not great, we made the mistake and returned for their breakfast. This was even moreridiculous: Not only that you had to order all your drinks at the entrance, but their overpriced 'buffet' did not even includeany toast or bread! Incredibly, we were asked to pay extra for it. LOL. What a shame. Zion NP is awesome, but why did they letan incompetent restaurant company spoil the holiday experience of its guests? Read more
Went for lunch service after finishing a long hike. The food was pretty decent. The Navajo taco wasn?t exactly the greatest. The... servers were nice however, they only came to the table once. We sat for around 30 minutes with empty drinks they just need towork on their lunch service. Read more
First of all if I made a hanging garden hummus wrap I would make sure Hummus was the star. Sadly it was not, there was enough to... say it was there but this is a "salad in a spinach wrap with a tzatziki/hummus dressing." Second the restaurant was disgustingthe main walkway was swept but the base of all the tables looked nasty with piled up food debris and dirt around them. Tableswere left un cleaned for half an hour and the service staff was almost lethargic. There was three of them for a dozen tables.Getting a refill for a beverage or an extra napkin should have been easy. My question to the manager/owner who ever reads thison Google. If you short cut sweeping and bussing tables what else is not getting the attention it should? I paid 12 dollars fora wrap I could have gotten at Subway for seven and they sweep and mop the floors! I won't be back and advise anyone reading thisto eat somewhere else. Read more

Only sit down restaurant to eat in Zion Park. Has great outdoor patio and views. But everything else is mediocre. There is no... service. You stand in line and pre-pay and food is delivered to table. There is good breakfast buffet. Read more
