I was stoked when I saw there was a vegan menu. Diego's has a great atmosphere, friendly service, and a great sink selection.... Overall, we enjoyed our experience and will definitely return! Read more

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. I celebrated my recent engagement with a couple friends and as soon as we sat down a person named... Michael came to our table. For all we knew, Michael was the owner as he never mentioned his title for the restaurant. Michaelsaw a gift on the table so he asked what we were celebrating. He then offered us "celebratory tequila shots" for my engagement. We accepted the offering, thinking it was a courteous gesture. Shortly after, our server came over and we ordered happy hourmargaritas and a few tacos a piece. When our server told us each our total at the end of our dinner, we were a little taken backas we only had a few items each. DIEGO'S CHARGED US $120 FOR THE "CELEBRATORY TEQUILA SHOTS" THAT WERE OFFERED TO US AFTER THEYNOTICED WE WERE CELEBRATING SOMETHING. Yes - I spoke with the manager on duty and the GM the next day, but Diego's couldn't domore than take off 1 shot and offer a free app or drink for our next visit. We would have never ordered tequila shots to beginwith, much less a $40/2oz. tequila shot!!!! We were horribly taken advantage of. Unfortunately, what was supposed to be a funnight out to celebrate my engagement turned into an extremely frustrating night. Read more

We ate at Diego’s Cantina last for the first time and WOW! The atmosphere was gorgeous. The space is designed and decorated... beautifully. Our server, Sean, was a true professional and very accommodating. The Hibiscus Margarita and the Costra de Pollotacos were my favorite. It was a wonderful experience. We will be back! Read more

Was looking for a new (to me) place with gluten free options and stumbled upon Diego's Cantina. The PDF version of the menu on... their website doesn't mark everything as gluten free, but it says at the bottom that everything except a couple of options isgluten free. The menu that they have in the restaurant (accessed with a QR code) has the gluten free options labelled (you haveto open to see the full description of the food). Staff seemed knowledgeable about gluten free. I'm also dairy free and got thechicken enchiladas (without cheese) and I really enjoyed them. My friend ordered their hibiscus margarita and said it was verygood. To hit on some of the things other reviewers have mentioned: the ambiance is great, the salsa is not. The chips are good(and gluten free). Would definitely go back! Read more

Pros: Some of the other reviewers were spot on. The indoor decor & ambiance are great. The service was consistent and timely. I... was over the moon because I asked for and received a vegan menu. Cons: However, the food, for me, was not the greatest. I'vehad other Mexican vegan food that was full of more intense flavors and variety. There seems to be a repeat of refried beans asthe star ingredient and radishes as garnish across all the vegan dishes that I selected. I didn't taste any variety of spicethat is synonymous with Cantina food. We even had to make a request for a more spicy salsa option and my 6 yr old kept sayingeven that wasn't spicy for them. I usually take pics of our food (thinking of future reviews) and was simply underwhelmed withthe flavor profiles here that I almost didn't bother. I chose to snap a pic in the end as proof that I was in fact there. Ifyou're into the appearances and pleasantries without the authentic vegan mexican profile then this is the place for you. Butthough I'm happy for the full vegan menu, I think they need to improve what they're offering to show their true value forMexican flare. Read more

Very cool spot. I liked the interior design and artwork. They have a vegan menue too which made the experience even better. It... was pretty loud on a Friday night, but there was just a lot of energy. Would like to go back to try more of their vegan items. Ireally nice surprise was the drink. They make an old fashioned with añejo patrón instead of bourbon. It was really good. Coulddefinitely go there just for the drinks. Very nice tequila list as well. They had flights that I would like to go back and tryas well. Well done! Read more
