I received a gift certificate from my workplace. I was looking forward to purchasing a treat. I placed my order and paid. ... There was a food delivery person ahead of me and he asked if the Sub Zero employee was working alone. The employee responded'yes but someone was coming in' as we had been standing there for awhile. The second Sub Zero employee arrived through theback door and they went into the office and then came right to the cash counter to assist me. I pleasantly and quietly askedthis Sub Zero employee to please wash her hands before she made my order. She responded with 'I just got here'. She went intothe back to wash her hands and the water was only on briefly, so I did not see her wash her hands. The store is very quiet.There is a hand washing sink behind the cash counter for everyone to see. My smoothies were made in the back so I could not seewhat was going on with my drinks. This place is not true bubble tea. The tapioca I ordered (brown sugar) had zero taste and was super disappointing. The... cappuccino drink was just made with powder and in a shaker bottle. For almost 6 dollars and for the pearls and tea to not betrue bubble tea it is not worth the wait and cost. The other items on the menu looks good, but if you want bubble tea gosomewhere else. Very friendly staff, clean, bright cheery place. Lots of yummy options. I ordered a drink which had popping bubbles in it... and and I just found if I have anything to complain about it would only be that for the price I paid, the amount of bubbles wereminimal. Love the place but feel a bit overcharged, so I don't go often because we have a big family and it costs well over 40+dollars for drinks for all 6 of us. Their tarot bubble tea tastes a bit off to me from what i'm use to, also wish they had slushy versions, but it's still a great... place to get ice cream and other goodies! Looking forward to trying some other bubble teas they carry in the future in hopes offinding one I like. They now also carry Shaws! Read more
Not only is subzero finding a unique way to present ice cream for everyone to enjoy but I recently discovered they have steamed... chilli dogs! Say whaaaaaat? Every single scrumptious carbohydrate endured was worth it! Followed by a pina colada milk shake.And a pup cup for my fur baby... ???? Subzero is what dreams are made of! A solid 12/10 in my opinion!
