Closed on Saturday despite apparently only being closed Sunday and Monday and no notice on their social media to prevent people... from wasting their time and gas driving there. Looks like this restaurant is on the way out. Super disrespectful to customers. Read more
I am torn. We used to love this place but after our recent visit I don't know if we will be back. We went for my kids birthday... and my entire order was forgotten. My wife and kid got their food and I never received mine. We waited for a long time and afterawhile we got up to leave and pay the bill. When I was paying I mentioned my food was forgotten. They showed me the receipt andmy food wasn't even on it. They apologized and gave me 10% off the food we received but I am annoyed because IF SOMEONE CAME TOTHE TABLE TO CHECK ON US OR SEE HOW THE FIRST BITES WERE then they would have realized they messed up. So yeah I am prettyannoyed and we will not be going back any more even though it was our favorite sushi restaurant on the island. This experiencewas ridiculous and left a bad taste in my mouth. Mixed Review. I love this sushi place as they make good sushi over the place down the street. However, I was quite disappointed... when I called in to place an order and no one answered after multiple attempts. The webpage stated they were open and someonepicked up the phone but no one spoke. First off this is a restaurant that was very busy. There appeared to be many tables reserved for the evening. That being said,... me and my partner chose this restaurant over the other sushi place down the road because of the ratings here on Google. I cannotsay if that restaurant is better. Yet, I am tempted to check for multiple reasons. Before I tell you the reasons why I wasn'timpressed I'll let you know that me and my partner have a pattern of trying sushi spots when we travel. So, we do have alot ofexperience to base thus encounter. Ok, on with the reasons why I didn't give Arigato Sushi 5 stars. 1. The service, thewaitresses seemed uncertain about specifics regarding the menu. Plus they have no liquor license. 2. We ordered a party traybut they wouldn't substitute the pilidelphia roles. - I'm lactose intolerane and my partner doesn't like them. They said that wehad to take it as is. 3. The bibmbap was loaded with sesame oil, that was the only flavor profile I could detect. 4. The partytray came and we were not impressed with the rolls. Half of the roles were VERY small... considering we paid 75 for the tray youwould expect the content to be up to standard with other sushi spots.. it wasn't.
