I ordered Jollof rice with chicken and beef. Paid almost $18 for a plate full of dry rice 2cubes of beef 2 cubes of chopped... (hen) vs chicken; hen is very tuff with 6 tiny pieces of plantains. Food was not fresh at all. The cook offered 3 additionalpieces of chopped hen without sauce. I rate the food (F)?Professionalism (C)?.Atmosphere (C) Read more

I agree with many of the other reviewers the meat was all tough the seasoning was missing; the only flavor was pepper. ... Recommendations buy a pressure cooker and get some maggie. The portion sizes are small the taste of the food needs to be worth$$$ spent. Read more

My fiancé orders from here at least once or twice a week. By far the best Nigerian in the Tampa Bay area! Customer service is... incredible and always greeted with a warm welcome when entering! Read more

I was super excited to try this meal and drove quite a distance to get it. The Jollob rice was really good but the meat was... hard. It taste like the meat is cooked separate then added to the sauces. The Egusi and fufu is what I really wanted and it wasa complete disappointment. The egusi wasn?t great but it wasn?t horrible. The fufu needed some salt or something. I love cassavaand this was just a no!! I will try again from a different restaurant before I give up on this cultured food. I just recdresponse from the owner and how unprofessional can you be!!! We have a right to critique any food we buy. Hence, reviews!!! Yourmeat was not tender!!! And let?s clarify this. I?m from an island and been around different cultured food including Africanfood! My brother-n-law is Nigerian and he cooks all the time so I know what good food taste like. I never had the egusi and fufuso I was curious to try!!! Your meat was HARD, probably days old!! And I did say the jollob was good probably one of the bestI?ve had but your attitude is horrible! Paid $73.78 dollars for four meals. 2 beef & chicken, 2 chicken Egusi meals. The chicken was so tough and full of fat I... couldn?t eat it. Provided very little sauce. The big bun actually neutralized a little of the hotness of the mild greens mix. Overall a horrible meal. Didn?t look anything like the picture. Was 1/4 cup mix.. not even a full meal. Very disappointed! Idrove so far?. First picture is only as much as I could eat and the second picture is what it looks like before eating. Hopeyour experience is better than mine was. Read more

Everything was great. It wasn?t as spicy as they claim it would be. Maybe they were going easy on me with the spices since I?m... American. I got the jollof with chicken and my partner got the Egusi soup with fufu everything was delicious. Read more

This was my first time trying African food.....so I will give my honest opinion! 1. Portion size does not match price...I paid... $15 for soup and I barely had any juice to dip the fufu in! I feel 3 pieces of meat isn?t worth the price! 2. I was expecting itto be more flavorful not saying that it was bad I feel we could use more seasoning. 3. Fufu tasted like Instant mashed potatoesrolled up in a ball! So I gave this place 3 stars due to the lack of favor and portions!! Read more

The vegetables soup was the first thing I tried from this place. It got my taste buds going crazayyy. Love it and I ordered... multiple times later on. Then I orders the egussi soup at least twice, it was soooo delicious. Love it. Then I order the obonosoup and eba ( pounded cassava). Took me by surprise, I did expect the obono soup to be slimy and the eba to be sour. I give therestaurant a call, the owner was so niiice. She said it was suppose to be slimy and cassava is sour because it was my firsttime. As somebody who hate any food with okra consistency, I was a little mad at first. But when the owner explain to me sonicely, I felt eager to try it. And I Lovee Ittt. I'm going my mother about this, somebody got me an okra consistency meal.Because God knows I absolutely hate Slimy food. But this dish got me loving it. Then I order the bitter leaf soup. I wasyoutube video on how to make it. The lady said it was not supposed to be bitter. But it was, absolutely bitter. At first not somuch but then it got realllly bitter. I only ate the smoke meat and the fufu. I also prior to order the bitter leaf soup triedthe ayamase soup. My siblings love it and I love it it was sooo delicious. Still love this place and I definitely look forwardto exploring their menu more. Read more
