3 meat plate: small portions, I mean I got 1 rib...that's pretty disappointing. Didn't get any bbq sauce with the order, but had... requested hot. The creamed spinach was good. Overall kind of lackluster. There are too many solid bbq options around to givethis place another chance. Read more
It was the worst visit ever at the Tempe location yesterday evening. Upon entry, we were not greeted or acknowledged. The two... young guys (food prep guy and guy at the register) behind the counter had no customer service skills. They didn't communicatewith us. They were rude and completely ignored us. When our pickup time was up, they informed us that they had messed up ourorder and had to remake our sandwiches. We waited fifteen minutes more for our food to finally be ready after already waiting solong. The fries were soggy and greasy. The food was cold. The restaurant was dirty. The floors weren't mopped and tables hadn'tbeen picked up. With the service I experienced, I never want to go there again. Ate at the Scottsdale restaurant years before & this wasn?t as good as I remember it. The sign on the door says they got an A+... from the health dept. but the equipment looks old and it needs a really good cleaning. I ordered 2 lbs of pulled pork and 1 lb of brisket. While the amounts i ordered were switched, my team actually preferred the... brisket. The gentleman behind the counter had my order ready on time when I arrived to pick it up. The location itself was a bitconfusing. Got a 1 meat plate pulled pork with green beans and okra and added a brisket taco. First, my pulled pork was nothing but old... dried out pieces, didn?t get to eat half of it ( asked for fatty part). Got the pork lovers platter which was about 26$ so I was expecting to get a good amount of food. I got my plate and it looked... like they skimped out on the servings.
