Friendly staff with a dog friendly patio. Great selection of many beers plus a sweet flight clock. Building has lots of history... behind it. Food was delicious and well priced. Worth the stop if you are visiting the Dalles or just driving through. Read more

July 30, 2022 Waitress did her best but it was a terrible experience yesterday. Limited menu due to heat / weather, that I... understand. The Reuban that was purchased was good. No issues Three orders of fish and chips unedible. Fish was overcookedand not eaten. There tarter sauce was NOT, it was a house horseradish mix. They said they had no tarter sauce in therestaurant. We spoke with the shift lead / manager or the person identifying as such. No discount just a sorry. For over a100 hundred dollars expected better. 3 yrs ago Great waitress (Regina). Good food. I ordered a burger and it was either freezer burnt or past it?s expiration date. Either way the manger David who was also our... server came by and asked us how the food was. I told him I couldn?t eat it was it tasted off. I had my friend try it as well,and they agreed it was not good. I asked it to be sent back or taken off. Instead of asking if I?d like something else or if hecould remake it. He made a scene and argued with me. He said I was ?shoving nachos in your face so now you don?t want yourorder.? I was really taken aback. Everyone in my house has waited tables or been in service Industry. He said you all need toleave now. So we got up and he threatened to call the police if I didn?t pay for the burger. He also didn?t let me take my saladhome. So I paid for food the he took back and then charged me for. I specifically didn?t eat the salad because I thought hewould charge me for the entire meal. Which he already planned to do. It was so weird. This man was personally upset about a 7$burger. It was a horrible experience, very embarrassing and extremely unprofessional. We will not be returning. Long storyshort, don?t order the burger and hope you don?t get David as your server. Head to the local Dairy Queen, way cheaper, bettertasting food and the service was great!! Dear David, your attitude was worse than your gross burger. Food was good and came out quick. Very good selection for beers. The building is also very cool !!! The young lady who was the... host was very friendly and nice. While she was talking to us a server came to interrupt to ask her something in a rude way wefound it a bit unprofessional. But the young lady kept her good mood. Not sure what was going on that night but the serversseemed frustrated at each other...It was a very strange vibe. Took a while to have our server. She did a very basic service,didn't seem to want to be there. Hopefully the host and kitchen staff get some good tip out because they are doing a great job. Read more

Was thrilled to try this beautiful place, was nice outside & cute inside. Old style charm. Very underwhelmed by the food. Waited... a long while to be seated... sigh!
