Our senior group went to a Halloween Tea today (10/28/2022) and loved it. The decor, the vanilla chai pumpkin tea = delightful,... the 3 courses = delicious. Just a perfect afternoon. Staff is friendly & helpful. We will return soon, how could we not -such a charming place. Read more

I have been going to this quaint tea place for several years and this is my first trip back post Covid. I met the new owner and... she is very nice and I wish her well but here are some points for her to consider as she moves forward. The service was slow! The portions for clotted cream and jam were very small( main reason for tea for me) and the way it was served was different. Iwould suggest to her to go back to the original way of serving. The food still tasted the same. Read more

I just enjoyed a fabulous tea with my mother and aunt. I wanted to treat them to something special and Crest Hill was perfect.... They've made some changes since I had last been a year ago that I really enjoyed, particularly the tea samples for smelling onthe table. The service was fantastic and the food and tea were even better than I remembered. We left relaxed, full and happy. Ithink we've found a new family tradition. Read more

What a charming little place. I visited with friends. They had tea; I had the tea sandwiches assortment. Great service and... wonderful food. I had to have a scone for home! Now I think I need to return to buy some hummingbird (like the cake) tea! Highlyrecommended. Read more

I’ve been going to this place for years, and just when I was about to bring my two closest friends there, the original owners... finally sold the business. I’m glad they were able to retire, but I was anxious about if this place would be differentfood-wise and with the atmosphere. Luckily, everything is pretty much the same, including the butterscotch scones with clottedcream I’m addicted to. They’re still good about food restrictions, and were able to accommodate 1 vegetarian, and 2 peoplewith pork and fish sensitivities. My friends were impressed with the tea leaf samples they brought out for us to smell and helpus decide what tea we wanted with our meal. The new owners are sweet too, and I hope they continue to thrive. The worst reviewson here are usually from people who tried to go in without a reservation and got turned away, so always make sure you have one!Luckily with the new owners, they’ve revamped the website to make it more modern and easy to make reservations without calling(but you can still do that too if technology isn’t your thing). Highly, highly, hiiiiighly recommend to those who love atraditional feeling tea time. Read more

Reservations, reservations, reservations! You really need to make reservations to get a table as it is a small business with few... tables. Walking in off the street you are less likely to get service. It was a wonderful spot for tea. The teas are loose leaffine quality blends that really make the experience. Wide range of flavors to choose from and individually or group pots. Thetea sandwiches were authentic and delicious. You have to try each one because no two are alike. The piece of resistance is thesconces. These are to die for. Now you just need to decide cream first or jam first. I can’t wait to go back. Read more
