Great owners! Great food! Fair prices. I've been working at the University of Toledo for many years and frequent Phoenicia... often. It's a great place for meetings with students or colleagues. My only growth feedback to the owners would be this: Thedecor needs updated, particularly the mauve colored vinyl table covers that have been on the tables for 25 years and the serversneed to be more observant and take dirty dishes off the table. Their pricing is good. Food tasted decent. The quantity of the food is decent as well. I had ordered green beans which were... okay, they were very bland and had no taste for me personally. Also, had ordered a sandwich in a pita bread which was good. Thesize was quite big and the fries which were freshly made were good too. All in all a hearty meal at a very decent price. Read more
For being on campus, this food is great! A lot of food that is available in nearby locations isn't always the beast tasting out... healthiest, and this is why Phoenicia is such a blessing to have around. The food is all really good and healthy tasting, and ata low price to boot. The servers and owner are all very nice as well, and they do take out! Students can also use dining dollarshere, and there is a stage in the restaurant which sometimes even has music or comedians performing. ( They even sell somealcohol, so this place could even be nice for a later in the night hangout with friends). I would definitely recommend studentsand visitors to the university alike to try out Phoenicia. Read more
Phoenicia is a regular lunch spot for my wife and I. In years of undergrad and grad studies I haven't encountered anything I did... not find tasty or well prepared. As a regular patron I highly recommend the burgers and philly steak sandwiches. Read more
I went to UT for several years and ate at Phoenicia at least once a week. I've been gone for a few years now and definitely miss... this place the most. Always had great service, delicious food, and good prices. Glad to see they survived the pandemic. Read more
