The food at Flame and Smoke is delicious. The taste, freshness and quality of the food is next level. I had the mac n' cheese... bites, corn bread and BBQ chicken sandwich, all of which were excellent. More importantly, Skye - one of the co-owners - issuper friendly and interested in chatting with her customers. I had the winner winner chicken dinner. The first bites of the cornbread and the fried chicken were amazing. Nonetheless, by the... end I felt the sweetness was a bit too much. The chicken has a relatively strong taste of ginger or tumeric, and it is quitegood. The sandwiches should be a good try for next time. Round 2: naked fried chicken sandwich. Great food! Fried chicken was amazing with great herbs and the honey garlic sauce goes well with it. Fries are great, and with... the aoli they taste amazing. Cornbread was also good especially with jalapeno. Pulled pork sandwiches are great but the bun isvery soft so it gets messy quick! Read more
So I want to start with the fact that the person at the counter was so sweet she seen I wasn't paying attention and brang out my... order to me which I appreciated very much. Now let me get to the burger I ordered the falafel burger which obviously did nothave meat and for once I wasn't disappointed like at all it was delicious ???? it had so much flavor I ate it all in like 4 minswhich is not a thing for me but I couldn't stop myself. The kale said was on point as well and it had real parm on it not thekraft type. I will definitely be going back to explore the menu further and will let everyone know about it. Read more
Don't bother. We ordered some food elsewhere in the area and wanted something hot to drink so we decided on getting some hot... chocolate here. It was early March so it was a little chilly outside late in the afternoon. After placing 2 orders for hotchocolate we had to wait for it for quite a long time. Longer than the acceptable amount of time to just expect for something assimple as hot chocolate. I don't understand how it could have taken that long. It was not at all busy during the time and therewere 2 employees working at the store. The wait time would have been understandable if the hot chocolate was at least decent.It was not. It was not at all hot, and it was not even properly dissolved. There was a lone marshmallow inside and stuck to thebase of the cup. The cup was standard and was not labelled or packaged with the store name. Everything that could go wrong wentwrong. Save your money and just order something elsewhere. Read more
