A first timer and I ordered ribs and a ribeye. The ribs were great but the steak was hard and tough. When we called about it,... the manager, Justin, quickly apologized, refunded our money and offered to mail us a return coupon. It came in the mail with aspecial handwritten note. As soon as I walked in the door, I was greeted by appetizing BBQ aromas and several warm, friendly staff members! I had never... been here before and the team was super nice, walking me through the experience of this place! In the end, I got a sampler platewith moist brisket, baby back ribs, and spare ribs. Everything tastes phenomenal! You could taste all the spices rubbed intothe meat and the authentic smoked flavors of the meat. , The texture was fall-apart tender and juicy, melting in my mouth!Accompanying this meal was an array of 7 sauces on each table! I've been going to Mission BBQ since May 12, 2018. On today Saturday, March 5, 2022 was my first time visiting this new location... in Towson, MD. The cashier who took my order really wasn't courteous nor friendly towards me while I was placing my order withher that was the first red flag. I asked the cashier to tell the cook who was making my order to add the barbecue sauce on theside not on my turkey but instead they still put it on my turkey which was the second red flag by not following my instructions.The manager was nice enough to give me a card for a Free sandwich for my next visit. Unfortunately I won't be coming back tothis location ever again. This food is horrible the only thing was good was the cornbread. The Mac and Cheese was awful themacaroni noodles wasn't even cooked all the way, the Green Beans taste sour, the Turkey is too dry and over cooked. For this tobe a new location maybe y'all might want to hire some real chefs and cooks who has a great passion when it comes to preparingand cooking food instead of just hiring anyone who really doesn't have a passion when it comes to cooking food. Mission BBQ is always amazing. I had the triple sampler with Mac and cheese, green beans, and baked beans. My favorite sauce is... Tulepo honey heat. But I also enjoyed trying out Texas twang, smoky mountain and their unnamed spicy sauce. The service is fastand the staff are very friendly. Would recommend. Read more
